Craftsman  Men's Vadar Work Boot - Black

I've had these boots for about 4 months now and they are holding up pretty well. They were comfortable from day 1 and now even more comfortable since they are broken in. However, there is a flaw with this shoe. Maybe it can apply to all work boots with "speed shoe lace hooks." The top 2 pairs of shoe lace hooks can get caught. I had a frightening experience with them during work this weekend. I was climbing down a ladder (thankfully only a 4ft ladder) and the shoe lace hook on my right shoe caught the inside rim of the ladder. I fell backwards because I lost my balance. Bruised my right arm, but I am ok because I fell from only about 3ft from the ground and my right arm caught the edge of a desk to break my fall. I often use 12ft ladders at my workplace and the thought of falling from any height above 3ft scares me, especially if I am not ready for it and off balance. Time to look for another work boot.

Every step I take, the right boot squeeks, I'm passed 90 days, so now I have to live with it. thats what the salesman said at my local Sears. I should have taken them back a couple of months ago, Not Happy

These boots live up to all the other reviews. very comfortable!!.I love them! Now for the falling apart story. i have had these boots for about 8 months. I do tile flooring so i'm on my knees all day. the sole on the right boot started coming off. Right now its loose from the toe to the ball of my foot... :( . I will never buy them again. Sorry to say because they are the most confortable boots i've ever tried on...

Soft, very confortable, and really waterproof. Those boots passed the test. I work 12 hrs six days a week with chemicals and hard conditions, but after 6 months they continue in good shape. Many friends got it and they have the same opinon. Soon, I will buy another pair to replace it.

I have this boots for a year now...yes it does wear inside, but it's normal as far as I consider... In the passed I had Timberland pro, CAT ...I send both of them back for replacement by Timberland and Cat, after two month or less, with very bad wear and tear on them on the outside... As a Mover/Trucker I've really tried to put this boots to the test, snow,mud,rain...and I got to say still survived till today... I was about to order another pair when I saw the bad rev they got...so decided to leave my opinion. As far as been comfy, I go through very long days 12 or more hours, with this boots, can't ask for more...

I BROUGHT TWO PAIRS OF THESE BOOTS ON SALE FIRST PAIR DON'T LAST A WEEK THEY CAME APART AT THE SOLE SEARS REPLACED THEM WITH CATS THEN WAITED TO WEAR THE SECOND PAIR JUST IN CAUSE THE FIRST WAS BAD I WAS WRONG THEY LAST AT ABOUT THREE WEEKS BUY CATS

I got about 4 to 5 months out of these boots. They were very comfortable for the most part and the composite toe held up, which is the first thing that goes on boots in my work. However on day the right boot just blew out. Everything was good then the rubber peeled down off the toe and the side of the sole peeled right off. had to tie strap them together to get home.

i bought this boots almost 3 months ago, both boots started ripping off by the heel inside and the sole was starting to come apart, this happened in about 2 months after i bought them, went to sears to exchange them,but they denied it. i wont pay 100 dollars again for some boots that will last 3 to 4 months.

LOVE IT, VERY COMFORTABLE VERY SOFT WHEN WALKING, DON'T HAVE TO BE BROKEN IN. I RECOMMEND TO THOSE WHO WORK OUT IN THE FIELD ALL DAY. I WILL BUY ANOTHER PAIR SOON TO KEEP AS EXTRA
