definitely worth the extra money since they are made in the U.S.A. the quality of the materials and workmanship blows the made in china boots away!

After a short break in period these boots feel really good. i tested the water resistance day 2 and they were great in slushy mess. good quality leather . i like the look of these boots also. they can be work or dress casual

I didn't have the money to purchase a new pair of Red Wing boots, and spotted these gems at my local Sears. Figured if Craftsman would stamp their logo on these boots they had to be worthy of the name. After three days of wear the boots were already broken in and feel great! I stand on my feet about 9 hours a day, and even with the included insoles these boots have proven well worth the purchase. Clean them with Allen Edmonds leather Cleaner/Conditioner once a week and use Allen Edmonds neutral cream polish to keep them shiny. (The neutral polish helps protect the very sharp looking white contrast stitching) I ordered a half size down as I wear these boots with athletic socks, as thicker boot socks would be too warm for me.
