      Very very good!
I purchased this wrench to use on my race car, from the motor and trans build thru aluminum wheel install the wrench worked great. Checked calibration of wrench at work and it is spot on. Perfect.

1/2 inch torque wrench - craftsman not what it used to be
After 4 uses over the course of 6 months, the cheap plastic "lock" broke. I returned to the store, tool in hand only to find out that the "lifetime" warranty on hand tools does not apply to torque wrenches. (while I understand calibration would not be warrantied, breakage should be). Of course I didn't have my receipt (I've never needed one in the past for craftsman lifetime warranty). Sears isn't helping itself stay in business with these types of policies and cheap Chinese made tools.

The wrench has good weight and is a solid unit.

      Nice

I hope this one lasts 40+ years like my last one did! Great quality for the old clicker in you.

The Best Torque Wrench for the Money!

Get this wrench while it is on sale! I have both the 3/8 and 1/2 inch drive wrenches. The ones that I have are very accurate. One thing to keep in mind with this kind of wrench, is it must be set to zero whenever not using it.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Micro Clicker works great!

I've only ever owned the old style torque wrenches that bend to indicate the torque applied. Sometimes it is tough to pull hard on those things and accurately read the gauge. The micro-clicker is easy to set and then just wrench away until it starts clicking. Awesome!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Disappointed

Bought this to replace a Craftsman torque wrench I had used for quite a number of years. The reversing mechanism on this wrench is a very poor design and caused the head to slip shortly after the 90 warranty expired. I have used Craftsman tools for over 35 years and had to search elsewhere to replace this sub par unit. Craftsman needs to discontinue this wrench and offer one that deserves the Craftsman name.

      Great Torque wrench

Good quality wrench, yet not indestructible. Should last 7-10 years of occasional use for the home mechanic. When they are half off at $40, worth every penny.

      great torque wrench for value

This tool is packed with features for the price point....You would have to spend two to three times as much money to get the same features from another torque wrench....so good I bought the 3/8 to go with it.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great buy for a reasonable price

Used several times since initial purchase. Good crisp clicks when adjusting. Good loud clicks you can feel when achieving the right torque. No problems as of review. Would be nice to have a case to store it in.

      Absolute JUNK

I bought one of these torque wrenches on 7FEB2015. I torqued the front calipers and the left side wheels on my car after replacing the brakes. The ratcheting mechanism in the head gave out, stripped, whatever. The point is, it quit working. I took it back to Sears on 10FEB2015 and exchanged it for another just like it. I took it out to the parking lot and attempted to check the torque my lug nuts. Torqued only two nuts and this one broke. Back in the store I go. Exchanged for yet a third torque wrench. Back out in the parking lot, and again, broken the exact same way as the other two. At this point, I asked for my money back. I'm very disappointed in the current quality of Sears hand tools. I guess I'm just going to have to spend a little extra and buy Snap On or Cornwell, but I'm done with Sears. I would not recommend this item to anyone. And as far as the rating stars, one is too much.

Everyone should own one of these

Everyone that does their own work on cars should own one of these. I've compared these to other brands and they are just as accurate and any I've found.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
