      Very very good!
I purchased this wrench to use on my race car, from the motor and trans build thru aluminum wheel install the wrench worked great. Checked calibration of wrench at work and it is spot on. Perfect.

1/2 inch torque wrench - craftsman not what it used to be
After 4 uses over the course of 6 months, the cheap plastic "lock" broke. I returned to the store, tool in hand only to find out that the "lifetime" warranty on hand tools does not apply to torque wrenches. (while I understand calibration would not be warrantied, breakage should be). Of course I didn't have my receipt (I've never needed one in the past for craftsman lifetime warranty). Sears isn't helping itself stay in business with these types of policies and cheap Chinese made tools.

      Accurate and sturdy.

Bought this because needed a torque wrench that was more precise than the standard "beam" style. Matched it against another torque wrench, they agreed. Seems robust in construction.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Good Torque Wrench

Works well and easy to use. Small enough that its not too cumbersome, and large enough that you get plenty of leverage. I'm happy with this torque wrench.

      Craftsman 1/2 drive review

I bought this on 4/4/15, used it once to torque my valve cover. It worked fine. I used it again on 5/3/15 to torque my lug nuts at 75 ft/lb and it broke. The wrench would no longer tighten the lug nuts but the loosening it is fine. I took it back and get a refund. I'll never buy this again as I had a Craftsman torque wrench and it broke on me too but they wouldn't cover it because it is considered a "precision tool"

Do it at home and save money.

I have two sets of tires for my truck. I need the exercise so I like to save money by changing the tires myself. Its nice to have the proper tool so you DON'T OVER TORQUE your lug nuts. Great product and at the right price.

Big, 1/2 inch Torque wrench with red dial setting lock. Homeowner quality.

If you need a replacement for a basic torque wrench, this is a good choice. Nice weight and handle length for wheel lug nuts and more. Why bother with getting an old torque wrench recalibrated?

      very nice torque drive

If you're looking for a nice torque wrench - this is probably a good one to go for. It is good an long and built solid. I don't think you would be disappointed in your purchase here. I believe I even got it on sale for over 50% off - so keep your eye out for a good sale.

      Very good buy

I have bought several of these torque wrenches for my cousin's mechanic shop. They seem to be working just fine. The last one I bought was about three weeks ago. The mechanics love them, and the price is unbeatable. These are not made in the USA but they are still great.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Works Great!!

Works great. Not sure how experienced the people leaving bad reviews are, but this wrench is perfect. When you're in the middle of the torque band (where the wrench is most accurate anyway) and in high torque areas, it clicks as loud as a finger snap. When it's at the very bottom of its tolerance (where the wrench is least accurate) it is very faint when it clicks if it does at all, most the time it just bends at the torque pivot. Moral of the story, don't buy a 1/2" torque wrench to torque things to 20 lb/ft.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Good for a short time...

Got this on sale and needed to torque some stuff down. First time using on lug nuts/bearing nut/caliper bolts, etc.. worked nice.. Went to do the other side and it started to slip on torquing stuff down. It would slip, then catch.. took several tries to get it to catch and not slip, good thing I was wearing gloves, or would have busted knuckles.. Went to exchange the wrench and the associate didn't really understand the warranty on this tool and I had to explain it to him.. long story short, had to get manager involved to get it exchanged. Hopefully this one holds out longer.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
