Broke after One month
I am a student in an Automotive program. My father in law bought me this as a birthday present in April 2012, needed to replace it by May 2012. The adjustment on the handle ended up getting really sloppy. Once the handle was locked I could slide it up and down so much that I didn't know if it was set to 50 ft lbs or 90 ft lbs. Then if that wasn't enough Sears wouldn't return it for me or my father in law without the receipt. We were able to finally get a replacement but I have no faith that this one will last the One Year Warrenty time. There is a reason that the price has been reduced by $40 in three months.

Save your money.

Only 1 yr warranty. Mine broke after 2 years of hardly any use. I had the $120 version. They don't stand behind it. And they had a bunch of refurbs behind the desk because they break so much. They let me walk away w nothing. No more craftsman for me. Buy 3 at ************** or buy snap on.

Works Great

I'd been wanting one of these to replace an older beam style, found this one on sale and thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. No more trying to read the gauge at awkward angles and confined spaces under the car. I love being able to just set the desired torque and just tighten it until it clicks. Great item.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Ratchet slips and locks

Used 3 times ratchet slipped and I hit my knucles. Waiting for sears to send a copy of receipt so I can return this item as it is only a 90 day warranty and not lifetime like other craftsman tools. This tool is only 19 days old.

Good Standard Wrench

I bought this torque wrench to replace a similar older version. Works well as described, and the price is right. I would recommend it for your standard duties like installing wheels, etc.

Quality Tool

The craftsman torque wrench performed very well. I was tasked with replacing and rebuilding the cylinder head on my wife's car and the torque wrench performed to a high degree. The effort involved to reach the torque spec was minimal so I could be precise. Great wrench, great price!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
its good enough for me

All i use this torque wrench for is for torquing wheels. Its nice quality but if your looking to torque down cylinder heads or anything of that sort, i would get something better like there digital one. But could not beat 40 bucks for this.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Should be rated ZERO

Waste of money, cheap, broke immediately, no consumer support, no parts available. Stay away from all things Crapsman.
