Good Product, Incorrect Description
As other reviewers have said, the red locking **** feels a bit poorly constructed, but it is working fine. The torque wrench does click when the torque setting is reached. I tested it last night and it is actually quite good. What's more important is that this thing measures 25-250 pound-inches NOT pound-feet as it says in the description!! Obviously a huge discrepancy for a measurement instrument like this since it's only purpose is to measure torque.

Inaccurate Product Description and Useless In Garage

I ordered one of these and immediately returned it to the store. The product description is GROSSLY INACCURATE. The wrench's range isn't up to 150 ft pounds. In fact, it doesn't even read in ft pounds, rather in inch pounds (a much smaller unit of measurement). The wrench is utterly useless for lug nuts or any other heavy application. I guess it might be ok for some sort of small, detailed torque work, but it's not much good past what I'd consider just past hand tight anyway. To conclude, what's the point? Look elsewhere for a torque wrench with more utility.

I have barely used it once since I got it last weekend. Seems sturdy. Has both Inch lbs and newton meters.

Great quality tool

Brought this torque wrench as a Christmas gift for my son. Tool appears to be of high quality and from my experience a Craftsman trademark.

Wrong specs listed in Overview for Model #31423

The wrong specs are written in the Overview for this Torque Wrench model #31423.  In the Overview it lists the specs as 25 to 250 ft lbs.  In the Specifications it is listed as 25 - 250 in lbs.  Ft lbs and in lbs are quite a big differance.  It is actually 25 - 250 in lbs.  I bought the wrong one based on the Overview information and need to exchange for the other Torque Wrench that goes to 75 ft lbs.  I hope someone corrects this before another customer makes the same error.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
