Good Product, Incorrect Description
As other reviewers have said, the red locking **** feels a bit poorly constructed, but it is working fine. The torque wrench does click when the torque setting is reached. I tested it last night and it is actually quite good. What's more important is that this thing measures 25-250 pound-inches NOT pound-feet as it says in the description!! Obviously a huge discrepancy for a measurement instrument like this since it's only purpose is to measure torque.

Overall
Torques approximately but not accurately or reliably

Pros: Price Cons: setting lock is easy to unlock by accident during use. bulky head makes it hard to fit in smaller areas. Torque felt quite a bit off when I compared side by side to a Craftsman Pro series. For someone who is wanting to do small engine repairs for personal home use this would do fine, but I would not recomend this for work or automotove use. I was looking for something to work on my trucks engine (2000 Ford Ranger 2.5L) with and the inconsistent torque values made me decide against this one after testing in a bench vice side by side a Craftsman Pro series. The range was just too far off for me to feel sure about using this on my automobile. After doing my research a bit more I am going to go with Tekton brand torque wrenches.

1st one broken. 2nd one OK.

First one I bought had to go back to the store. As others noted, the red 'lock nut' just spins and doesn't actually lock. So the wrench was completely useless. The 2nd one worked, but as others noted it is definitely low-end. I felt like it would break again at any second. It got my bolts back on, but I don't think I'll be keeping it.

Excellent buy!

The torque wrench was a really great purchase as a gift for our son. The staff was knowledgable and friendly, and the price was right! When in doubt, always buy Sears tools!

Great Wrench for the price

I use them for light duty use, I don't build engines on a regular basis but for the cylinder head change, light transmission work and the only several times a year i have bought this over a snap-on that costs 8x times more. if i used it every day, sure i would get the more expensive one.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Products

I think we all know by now that the craftsman name is about the best value around. I have used them since I was a mechanic in high school and still us those very same tools today. I have a great peace of mind knowing that if a product does not hold up to the job that Sears backs the Craftsman products 100%.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
