Locate hot circuits and troubleshoot primary circuits on all 6 and 12 volt systems. Heavy-duty lead and stainless steel probe for fast, safe and accurate low voltage testing.
Has a small, ergonomic design for use in tight areas. Sharp stainless steel probe for easy wire piercing and 12 ft. coil cord test lead made from durable heat and oil resistant material. Threaded probe to add on other screw-on type accessories and bright high intensity bulb for easy visibility. Molded strain relief at both ends prevents broken wires, also features a heavy-duty clip.

This is a great tester. It has lots of wire, and recoils back when the job is done. The clips will hold the tool in place while you check out the circuit.

It has a great cord on it. Most vehicles I can stretch it from the front to rear. The metal probe could be a little longer, but I have one that I modified and got 2 of them for the price of one of the high end tool truck.

i brought this item because i got sick and tired of having to go to a mechanic to check and see if i had a car fuse that was out. my household has 4 cars so we need a device like this. this works perfectly fine, i had no trouble with it. i just placed it against the car fuses and it would light if the fuse worked and it wouldn't light if it didn't. be aware that for some car fuses the car needs to be turned on. FYI buy the replacement bulbs right away, so that you dont have to go all crazy looking for them later like this other guys. again i use this for a personal use.

Overall, a very good test light that bridges the gap between auto store cheapies and tool truck units. While it's not "computer safe" like the high end Snap-On and Mac units, it's also 1/4th the price and allows you to simulate relay triggers on alalog systems. I buy the same tester for my whole crew of specialized low voltage installers/techs. Grab some extra bulbs if it's used daily like ours are, they will go bad if you repeatedly drop it (duh). Overall, a great tester for average use and a very good one for daily professional use.

Probe broke off on first use. Unrepairable, Store would not take it back or exchange. claimed must return within 90 days. tool sucks so does store. will not return
