Do not order this mulch kit. It is NOT a kit, it is only the mulch plug. The blades do not come with it.

Every other mulch kit comes with a discharge cover and a set of mulching blades. Also, my Craftsman DLT 3000 included the discharge cover at no extra charge. I guess because this mower is over $1,000 more than that one, Sears figures it can charge more and give less. When you buy the kit for the 42" ZTS you get the blades and the cover. But, when you buy the kit for the more expensive 52" ZTS (implying more than one item in the package) all that you get is the plastic cover for $60. The only good thing I can say about this "kit" is that the cover fits perfectly after replacing two carriage bolts - one holds the front right gauge wheel on, and the other goes through a hole that is stamped through the deck. However, 2 large bolts are included in the hardware kit with no explanation as to where they go, if anywhere. If this piece was available in an aftermarket store I probalby could have saved over half. However, I love the ZTS 6000. My lawn has never looked better!
