Far too bulky and expensive for what it does.
I received this as a door prize at an office party two years ago. I promptly put it in my kitchen junk drawer and forgot about it until I saw them at Sears the other day. I was surprised by the price... I was thinking something like this would be 6 or 7 bucks tops. In any event the raving reviews I saw on here prompted me to put it to the test one weekend opening bottles of root beer, soda, and beer. It worked no better than my pocket knife or the handle on my oven, quite frankly. I may be missing the point here, but what got me is the top review of this product calls it "a must-have for your toolbox". Seriously? Would anyone throw this heavy paperweight in their toolbox so it can take up more space than a socket wrench or two full sized screwdrivers? Especially when you consider that any toolbox already has plenty of things in them that can easily open bottle-caps .... such as locking pliers, channel-locking pliers or the rear of a claw hammer. I can see something like this going with a set of grill tools, or possibly hanging on a nail next to a beer fridge in your garage, but I'd think twice about getting it as a gift for someone's toolbox.

Everyone Loved it!!!

I bought this for my Daddy for Christmas. I think I used it more than he did opening his bottles. Its tough and looks and feels like a real wrench! I bought one for myself and my boyfriend for his birthday.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Toughest bottle opener ever

I bought this bottle opener to go with my Craftsman-branded grill tools, and I do not even drink beer!  This is a seriously over-designed product, I doubt you could ever break or bend it.  Plus this one is a "collectible."  If you have a Nascar themed-garage this will be a natural to go with it.

A Must Have In Any Tool Box

Are you kidding me?  Figure it out!  Power Tools  -  Beer!  You've got to have a special purpose tool for beer.  This one works.  It's opened every bottle of beer I've challenged it with.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Product

I have bought a couple of different versions of the Cap Wrench. It is the absolute best bottle opener ever. I buy them when they are on sale and give them out to family and friends.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

As good as the tools

This may seem like a novelty item (and it sort of might be) but it is really functional and will be the most durable bottle opener you will ever own. A great conversation piece.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
