I bought a Nextec combo very soon after they were introduced. This light came in a set with a drill and reciprocating saw. The saw and the drill are fine, but the light is junk. I used the light for weekend auto repair work and after about a year some of the LEDs started to flicker and eventually they went out. This happened in pairs, and over a period of time most of the LEDs burned out. This is simply inexcusable and is an example of the poor quality tools that Sears is now selling.

All Nextec batteries are interchangeable with this light. Nicely bright for work area, and battery does pretty good between charges, cuz I use it every day at work. The flat base and swivel head means you can set it down for hands free use and aim it just where you want it. Not too big, not too small, and durable. Great product Craftsman!

I like the light-but-did not know battery was seperate-thought it took regular batteries, by the time I bought the battery and charger it was almost $75.00 and I could have bought the drill which comes with battery and charger for less and used the battery for the light. I currently have 2 of these. One in my work toolbox and one in my portable tool bag. I like that the head swivels and the light can stand up on the base on it's own. It is very bright and compact. GREAT JOB CRAFTSMAN.
