Performs well; digital readout nice. Reasonably priced. Wonderful for taking it to the tire (vehicle/bike/wagon/wheelbarrow/etc) versus bring the tire to the compressor. Every negative comment was from people who hadn't comprehended the obvious, that this is an add on tool which doesn't include the battery. Every comment from someone with another Nextec tool (& battery :-) gave it high marks. I agree. No more plugging the 12V inflator into the lighter and dealing with a 20 ft. cord for me!

First time using the inflator it failed, blew a gasket or a line inside the device. It took one full battery to go from 50 psi to 80 psi filling a 5 gal tank. Then when the battery was replaced it made it to to 95 psi and died. After the blowout it would only generate about 5 psi. Totally useless to me.

I have had mine for about 8 months. It does a good and quick job airing up stuff. I have aired up sever tires from almost flat to full and like the ability to preset the tire pressure. Set it, start it, and then do somethiing else until you here it turn off. I can usually fill two to three tires from flatish to full on one battery. Several people have complained that it doesn't come with a battery or a charger. This is designed and marketed to by one tool in your NEXTEC collection. I already have two chargers and three batteries, although I could use another battery I don't want another charger. I personally am happy to not have to pay for another charger. Great pump, nice size (easy to take on road trips).

I see there is a number of people that don't read the box or sales display when purchasing a product, therefore they blame Sears for their ignorance. This is an accessory for the Nextec drill. They sell these specifically without the battery and charger to save you money! The product is nice and compact, has a small light, different adapters for whatever you need to inflate. For tires you set the pressure and it will automatically shut off, can't be any easier unless you have someone do it for you! My suggestion to those who don't read, to start, so you know what you are purchasing!

i bought this on Black Friday sale and I am very impressed. I have other nextec tools and this inflator worked very well and fast. Gauge is accurate and simple to use.

The battery doesn't last forever but I have repeatedly been able to inflate the tires on both the family cars without charging in between. The pump isn't fast but the unit is light and convenient to toss behind the seat.

Portable and easy to use. Love the feature of setting the pressure and the automatic shut-off. Used it to replace a 19V unit whose batteries never seem to hold their charge. The NEXTEC tools have never failed me.

Picked this up for keeping my motorcycle and bike tires inflated, and for that it's been perfect. This has nice power. Recently, my wife discovered her Honda Accord's rear driver's side tire was low. Plugged in the Nextec pump, and the clear read-out indicated it was at 9psi! I double checked with a gauge and it was exactly correct. It was then I noticed the nail in the tire. I set the pump to the desired 30psi and within about one minute, the tire was fully inflated and turned off automatically once at 30psi. This saved a tow and performed great! The tire held its air and I was able to get the car over to the tire shop. This is definitely one of my favorite additions to the Nextec line. Have since used it to keep even my large SUV tires at full pressure. Thanks, Craftsman!
