As other reviewers mentioned, this wrench is of very low quality. The nut is knurled, unlike in the picture. I tried to use it with a #6 craftsman tap (this should be good for #0-#12), but did not get far; the tap would just spin in the wrench. This is because the opening of the wrench does not form a square like it should, but a circle. I expected an inexpensive low quality wrench that I could use very occasionally, but this is a completely useless piece of junk that I could not even use once.

This tools works great holds the bits tight and secure. It's balanced so I able to apply even pressure when cutting threads.

I bought this wrench because I needed to rethread a cylinder head while it was still in the engine. When pulled out of the package the tightener was a a little stiff, but working the tension eased it. I like the concept of this wrench because it makes you ease the tap instead of the possibility of stripping the threads out. The wrench is small and the handle moves side to side, to work around immobile parts.

I needed to exchange my tap wrench handle model # 952559 and the one that was sent as a replacement was not the quality I expected. The one I originally had nicely machined handle and had a quality look to it. It felt like it was made to last. When I returned to the store, the clerk had to order one to be sent to me because the store did not carry a replacement. The one that arrived, had a cheaply crimped handle and the over all feel was like an inexpensive bargain wrench. I am disappointed that I even turned in the original one. I am very disappointed to say the least.
