Little gunky when I bought it

At some point in its life it appears to have gotten a little damp so there was some gunk on the shaft and a little bit of rust on the tip. Other than that it functions as it should and is great for finishing driving something you were using your screw gun for to get it exactly flush. Wish they had more sizes of the Robertson tip available.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The heritage of quality Craftsman tools is timeless.

Dependability you can count on whether you are a professional mechanic or the occasional do-it-yourselfer. This was just the tool I needed to complete my task at hand.

      Useful addition for the homeowner

Robertson screwdrivers are not especially common in the US but this form of screw and driver is very common in Canada. We recently built some flat-packed furniture from a Canadian company and found these very useful. The screws were also compatible with Philips drivers, but you can handle the screw better and get better torque with the square drive. Get both sizes.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

I bought this Robertson #2 screwdriver, because I have a box of of screws with the square fitting and it was on sale. Now, I can use these screws.

      Great Driver.

Typical Craftsman Quality Fit and Finish. Made in USA and stamped WF. You probably wont use Robertson everyday, but its nice to have it in the box for when one of those fasteners happens to be on a project.

      Great tool to have

Nice tool to have when you work on furniture or other things that have this type of drive. Its worth stuffing in the toolbox for the day you may need it later.

      Robertson screwdrivers hard to find

I use Kreg pocket screws as a primary joint system in many woodworking projects.  I prefer to do the final tightening of those screws, which use the Robertson #2 square head bit, manually instead of driving them to end with my drill.  This prevents joint slippage and splitting.  Finding a manual screwdriver for this purpose was difficult.  I am a big fan of Craftsman tools and this screwdriver is of typical Craftsman quality.

I would prefer that the screwdriver had a bigger handle.  On projects requiring a large quantity of screws, it becomes painful to use as the project proceeds.  I could only find this screwdriver with the one size handle.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Had it for years. still going strong

I consider this a specialty screwdriver and as such, only gets used periodically. However, it has never failed me. If it ever does, covered by the famous Craftsman lifetime warranty.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
