The price of the product is not too bad, comparable to most automotive filters (although I can get them cheaper sometimes when they go on sale, and this one almost never goes on sale unless Sears has a garden department wide sale like near the end of the season). Hence, makes sure you get this near the end of the season to save on cost.

This is the reccomended filter for my Sears Craftsman garden tractor with Kohler engine. It works as designed, but is a bit pricey.

The filter and oil was for the first oil change on my zero turn mower but i which i would of been told to buy two quarts because one was not enough.

The sales person had full knowledge of what I was needing and friendly like most Sears employees are. The Craftsman replacement oil filter was a perfect fit for my Kohler engine. I especially like the fact that Craftsman used very little wrapping/packaging.
