The Craftsman Oil Filter Wrench is sturdy built and grips oil filters very well with minimal slippage. I use this on my vehicles, my kids vehicles, and lawn tractors. Simple, quick, & easy to use. Only issue with the filter wrench is sometimes space required to use is a little tough, but other than that, this filter wrench is great. If you do oil changes and need a sturdy and cost efficient oil filter wrench, give this one a try.

I typically use the cup style wrenches but sometimes they don't fit right so I bought this Craftsman wrench. This wrench works fine if there's enough space for it to fit. The handle does swing down but on some cars it needs to swing so much that there's no leverage on the wrench.

I bought this Craftsman oil filter wrench to help change the oil filter on my riding lawnmower. I didn't have the opportunity to try it out in the store because they didn't have any in stock at the time. But for the price it was I didn't have a problem buying it online and then doing ship to store. My first impression was that it is alot more rigid than others I have seen and messed around with. It tightens and loosens easily and has enough friction to unstick the most problematic of filters. The handle is rubberized and feels almost padded for some additional comfort while working. It is a little heavier than other oil filter wrenches I've used but I think that is because it is made out of better materials. For how often it is used it isn't a big deal for me, but for someone who would use it everyday it might be an issue. Overall I recommend this wrench.

I've changed a lot of oil filters with this oil filter wrench. It is quite good to be able to just grab onto the filter a simple and quick twist lossens it right up and therefore easy to continue the spin off. There have been a few times now that I don't think I would have been able to remove the filter from variious machines without this wrench. Excellent buy for the money.
