The Craftsman Parallel Bar Clamp Extender is a terrific accessory for the Craftsman Parallel Bar Clamp customer.

When a greater length of clamp is required a woodworker can either buy a larger parallel bar clamp or, they can purchase the Extender and make custom lengths out of any two Craftsman Parallel Bar Clamps. The internal profile of the Extender precisely fits the profile of the Craftsman Parallel Bar Clamp rail so...by inserting two rails into the Extender and securing them, one can effectively double the regular clamping capacity. The aluminum profiled Extender will easily withstand the clamping force of the parallel bar clamp and ...no loss of 90 degree clamping is experienced. The rails are secured to the Extender with two bolts that takes less than a minute to mount. A great accessory for those special extra-long clamping requirements.

Overall

Craftsman Parallel Bar Clamp also fits Bessey Clamps

I don't often run into the situation where I need to clamp something eight feet long, but this fine parallel bar clamp has made that possible. I assume that Bessey makes the clamps for Craftsman, as I own both brands and they appear to be nearly identicle.Either way, this Bar Clamp allows you to join two (any length) Craftsman or Bessey clamps together to tackle nearly any length job. Another Excellent product from Craftsman!
