This is exactly the type of product that gives Craftsman it's bad name... poorly built and inpossible to adjust properly. I've had this product and four of the regular sprinkler heads... all junk. You either get a fuzzy mist out of it, or you get a jet stream of water... no coverage at all. Seems like the Craftsman sprinklers either work but break quickly, or they never work right to being with, then still break quickly. Do yourself a favor and get a quality product that doesn't carry the black and red colors or Craftsman.
Sorry Sears, I've given you a fair chance over the years, but with the products I'm seeing in your stores, I've opted to take my business elsewhere. With your lawn and garden equipment, I typically only find myself in the store for returns or exchanges. Enough already.

I've been using this sprinkler by Craftsman or Gilmour for over ten years. All I can say is that it takes practice to learn how to adjust the stream you desire. This should take about ten minutes or so. But, once you learn the settings on this unit, you set it and forget it until you stop watering. As for me, I would not have any other sprinkler. This one allows me to water any part of my yard regardless of the the yards configuration. The only negative I find is that over time, the base on which the sprinkler head rides sometimes may crack and restrict a 360 degree rotation. I can still use the unit but would love to be able to replace this 'base' without having to buy a new unit. One way I've found to prevent this from happening, or at least prolong its life, is to be sure I dry off the unit when finnished with it and putting a thin coat of olive oil on the base. Overall, I find it perfect for my needs! TJ, San Antonio, Tx.

I have an odd shaped yard with 3/4 of an acre in the front and a much smaller area in the back. I bought this sprinkler because the last one I had that I loved was a craftsman and it died after years of use. This sprinker is even better because I can create a shape to fit the area I am watering and not overwater in sections or have to move it around to get a whole area watered. I love this sprinkler and am going to purchase another one so that I don't have to move it around.

Poorly made. Bought two. Both failed within a week of each other. Returned both for a credit.

My neighbors are all impressed that I can sprinkle a square with a rotating sprinkler. I love how I can countour it to my yard/garden and not soak my deck or porch while still hitting all the plants.

Not sure why they are saying this is a forever warranty. When it arrived the box says it's a 7 year warranty. Haven't tried it yet, but wouldn't have even ordered a plastic sprinkler if I'd known it was 7 yr instead of lifetime. Come on Sears, how hard is it to run a web site? This is going back to Sears.

This sprinkler will do for what I need. I need a temporary solution to water an odd shaped, sloped yard until I have the time and money to install a sprinkler system. I can't rate this product low considering I knew what I was getting when I bought it, and the price was low. That said, don't expect quality products for $15. The product is thin plastic. So light and thin that it is unable to stay put as it waters the lawn. I'm required to place rocks on the sides of the product to keep it from moving out of position. Still gave it a higher rating since it is effective, cheap, and was only purchased as a temporary solution.

This sprinkler has worked great for me over the past four years. The plastic that adjusts the distance did eventually break so I took in the sprinkler and got a new one. This is the sprinkler that I use the most often.
