IT'S EASY TO INSTALL AND PROGRAM. ACTUALLY PROGRAMED 3 OPENERS IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES. WE USE OURS TO TURN ON LIGHTS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE GARAGE WHILE DRIVING UP TO THE GARAGE BECAUSE THE GARAGE IS NOT ATTACHED TO THE HOUSE. THAT WAY WE CAN WALK TO THE HOUSE IN LIGHTED EASE ESPECIALLY IF WE LEFT HOME WHEN IT WAS STILL LIGHT. WITH THE USE OF ANOTHER TRANSMITTER LEFT IN THE HOUSE WE CAN TURN IT OFF FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE. I'D RECOMEND IT IF THERE WAS DIFFICULTY HARD WIRING SUCH AS IS OUR CASE.
