Bought these Craftsman Post diggers to start working on my back fence and set some anchor post for my new storage building. I have very hard ground with lot of rock but was able to still dig my post holes, using these diggers. The handles have decent grip with my gloves while digging. This set of diggers seem to be built pretty solid and looks like this set will last me a while. I like the fiberglass handles also. No worrying about getting splinters in my hands like I did with my older wood handle diggers. I have a lot of work to do this spring and summer and feel confident that my new diggers will be able to handle my projects with no problem..... I recommend these diggers to anyone needing to dig post holes.

it's pretty good, the handles could use rounded caps so the the rubber covers last longer, & i'd prefer it to be american made. over all a decent tool though.

I was looking for a pair of diggers that were tall and wouldn't let the sand fall out as I was digging holes. The blades bent when hitting roots with my old pair, and the handles were splintering. Not a problem with these. We are putting in a lot of fence, and these should last the job and then some.

I used this for digging holes for large shrubs and plants, it works awesome! It is also a great upper body exerciser while you dig your holes, as an added benefit.

I was a little hesitant to purchase with fiberglass handles, having owned a wooden handled digger for the past 15 years. I dug up 22 fence posts set in concrete with little difficulty and these diggers are just as solid as the first hole. They did feel a little clumsy at first but after the 3rd post, they actually felt more sturdy and got easier to work with. They do feel slightly heavier in weight. I like the rubber grips on the handles. I did take a grinder to the blades so they would close a little more tighter in the bite. There was just a little too much of a gap to suit me, especially when you're in deep and you lose most of the dirt because of a 2 inch gap at the tip. The hardware and all parts have stayed tight, and the quality is great! I'm 6'2" and these are the perfect height.
