awesome trimmer accessory. even though the starter rope is easy to pull, this is much quicker. the minimum drill requirements for this are supposed to be 14.4 volts. my 12 volt craftsman drill/driver will start it cold or warm with no problem.

If you have even just one Easy Start Craftsman piece, you need this. This is so worth it. I love not having to pull the cords 10 times to get any thing started.

This works very well on an engine that is difficult to start. It should be included with the string trimmer originally. This tool is unique in that the end that engages the engine is supported by and locked into a bearing so that you can safely remove the bit from the running engine without damaging the engine, the tool or your drill as well as to help prevent injuries to the operator.. Had I of known of this tool when I bought the trimmer I would probably have bought it then. For some reason this engine is much harder to start than the previous 29cc 4-stroke model.

The competition sells a pricy electric starter for their trimmer. I'm sure it works well but I like the small, simple, and low cost craftsman starter tool that just fits on my cordless drill. I tried the Craftsman starter tool once and it works great.

I purchased this device at the same time I bought a 2 cycle gas trimmer as it is sometimes difficult starting the motors and I wanted to be sure I could get it going easily. This works as advertised and is worth the small cost. You need a decent drill and mine works fine starting the engine.

Why not make it a standard size hex bit? Doesnt Craftsman make enough money on there name already. The quality of tools and service has really gone down.

The craftsman Power bit start is a great attachment to my craftsman cordless drill that allows for easy starting of my craftsman weed eater. My wife loves it because she doesn?t have to pull the pull string to start the weed eater. Perfect tool.

We keep misplacing this piece. It is a great concept but needs to be attachable somehow.

I had trouble starting my trimmer and so I thought I would try this item. It worked great and the trimmer started up. It is a great accessory. I recommend it as it makes starting the trimmer easy.
