I love this ratchet. The wide handle feels great and doesn't dig into your hands when you're pulling hard on something. The handle is longer than the standard 3/8 ratchets so you get more leverage than a standard ratchet. The fine teeth have a purr that let you know you are using a quality tool. I hope Craftsman can see that there is a market for upgraded quality from their (now China made) basic tools.

This is a GREAT ratchet for the money, I got it on sale for less than $50. The handle is a little longer for more leverage and the gear ratio is low so it takes less turns to turn a fastener. I've used it in tight areas where there's little room to turn a ratchet, with this tool all you need is a little room to turn the fastener because of the gear ratio. No regrets in buying this.

Quiet, smooth, and fine tooth configuration is excellent when working in tight spaces; this is a part of a 3 pc set - 1/4,3/8/1/2 inch drive.

Was using item to hold a nut inplace while I turned it out with another wrench the unit seized up and the nuts holding the unit came out the wrench completely fell apart. DO NOT BUY this socket wrench my teardrop Craftsman wrench has been going strong for years now with constant abuse. Its not worth the money or the time overall Failure of a product.

Broke in the middle of a project, after only six months in the toolbox. Sad. The price you pay for this series of ratchets you would expect more quality. They're the last Craftsman ratchets built in the USA. Completely jammed. Had to revert to my old tools to complete the work. There was a time when Craftsman stood for quality. No more. I'll be going to S&K or KD from now on.

Its a little heavy for my taste but for the price I paid for it I cant complain. It feels just as good as any truck brand ratchet out there.

this ratchet is very disappointing. i am a mechanic i use snap on and matco ratchets all day everyday and i beat on them. i bought this ratchet thinking it would be nice. what a joke. the first one i had lasted about three days it locked up. mind you i only use this ratchet for light duty tasks i didnt expect to get a true professional grade ratchet from craftsman. after the first one locked up i warrentied it got another same thing it lasted for about 3 uses and it locked up. after warrentying it again i used it to wind back up a spare on a toyota sienna. it locked up again. i have been through three so far honestly these are a total waste of money steer clear of these ratchets the engineering is the problem. if it didnt lock up all the time it would be good but ive been through three and all three broke immediatly after first use. garbage. if you want a professional ratchet, buy a professional brand.period.

This is better than any other ratchet I've handled and I have handled a lot! I reach for this one first and will for a very long time. Made in USA!!!!!, great finish, the finest ratcheting mechanism, extra length for more torque, and very reasonably priced. What more could you ask for! I hope Craftsman continues to make more premium tools.
