The Honda engine is fantastic. The sprayer handle assembly is ok. Sometimes it gives me trouble taking it apart. I bought this washer to clean off the hull of my boat at the end of the season. Works great every time. I also cleaned the siding of my house and again worked great.
I'd say stick with the Honda motor like this- have heard mixed reviews on the Briggs and Stratton model. Pressure washer has enough power to lift stains from the driveway and mud from my RV, no complaints. Just make sure not to strain the low pressure and high pressure hose connections, I've heard that's a good way to break it. As for the detergent, you can buy the bottle they offer, but keep it and just fill it with whatever dawn or whatever you like later. The hose is decent, not too flexible, but the briggs and stratton replacement hose is a good option as well, having double the length isn't a bad problem to have.
I bought this to pressure wash the house. The set and prep to use was very simple. This pressure wash almost made the job fun. I look forward to every new use I come up for it.

Appeared as though the Honda engine was overheating. Not sure. Always purchased Craftsman with Briggs and Stratton engines. My second Craftsman Washer. First one aged out. I exchanged for a model 752881. Hopes this experience is better

I picked this washer because it had a Honda Engine and so far it has worked great easy to use. Started on the First pull and cleans great I would recommend to anyone. The down fall is that you have to buy a tank to put your cleaning soaps in.

First the bad stuff, which really isn't so bad: There is a lower protrusion on that plastic piece just below the handle. It does get in the way of pulling the cord. Pull the cord about 6 inches before you give a yank to start the engine will work fine though. I'm pondering cutting that small piece off with my dremel. The hose looks thin and it might kink. So far so good though...but I only used this thing twice. Even though all of the pictures show a bottle for detergent or whatever, there is none included. A touch of false advertising - maybe. The bottle is sold separately when you want the detergent. If it wasn't for these things I would have given 5 stars. Now the good stuff and some advice: There are some blue caps installed at the factory that cover the water inlet and the water outlet. Keep those and seal up the center holes with tape or better yet - a screw, a couple of washers and a couple of jam nuts. I stash my washer in a shed. Guaranteed some earwig or spider is going to try and call it home within minutes of me putting it away. So I reinstall them when I'm done. The gas cap has a lanyard on it so it doesn't fall in the mud. Nice big cap that rachets when you max the closure torque.Fill the tank and it lasts an hour. Engine started up on the first pull both times I used it. I have an old lawn mower with a Honda engine and it's the same deal. Tons of power. I used the second to lower (white) tip to clean my deck that is 8 years old. Came out great. Someone stated that the red button that needs to be depressed before you can pull the trigger is in an awkward position. True. But once I pressed the red button and then pulled the trigger, I didn't need to press that red button again for 30 or 40 minutes. So I don't see that as a big deal. Attaching all of the hoses is simple and no tools required. I thought that once I twisted those babies on I might need a channel lock to get them off. No need. The grips are large enough to give you the leverage you need to spin them all off again. There are these rubber straps on either side of that plastic center piece below the handle. Nice feature. They are used to hold the chrome wand that unscrews from the gun, on one side; and the gun itself on the other side. After my second use I wanted to have one of the straps to also hold the end of the high pressure hose that would attach to the water output on the bottom. No problem - the strap was able to accommodate. The plastic oil dip stick is nice in that the area where you are looking for the oil level has a casted cross-hatched pattern. This allows the oil to "puddle up" in the recesses of the cross hatch when you pull the stick out to check the oil level. It makes it much easier to read the oil level.
I found this quite powerful and dependable. I had bought this to clean my roof, sidings, decks and garage. I started with my roof and used for straight 5 hours and it kept on working and working without any issues. All i had to do was assemble it, put in oil and gas and I was in business. It has extreme power to do practically anything and has all the tips that would be required for any job. There are couple of things i would wish to be changed . The first thing would be if the unit came in with a longer hose as 25ft on a roof is never enough and I had to connect about 50ft of extension and still the pressure never dropped. Second is about the soap dispenser, instead of the current setup where a tube goes to a customized soap container which is quite difficult to stay in place with all the vibration and have to constantly check on that. except for that, I would surely recommend this unit and you cannot go wrong with a Honda Engine as a icing on the cake.
