1-3/4 HP Premium Hybrid 10" table Saw Brings the Power to Your Shop

The Craftsman Professional 1-3/4 HP premium hybrid 10" table saw has the strength and the accuracy to handle most jobs around the house, and some work as well. The motor can run up to 3,450 rpm, which is more than enough to let the carbon-tipped blade slice smoothly through your materials. The granite table top is the smoothest surface ever, free from nicks that can ruin your work.

The 1-3/4 HP Premium hybrid 10" table saw has a rip fence equipped with side panel rails to help with accuracy. The saw can cut up to 3 5/16 inches at 90 degrees and 2 1/4 inches at 45, giving you plenty of room to rip through thick boards.

 • The Craftsman Professional 1-3/4 HP premium hybrid 10" table saw is quiet, powerful and smooth-everything you need to get the precision you want
 • The motor can generate up to 3,450 RPM
 • The 10 in. carbide-tipped blade has 40 teeth per in. and tilts to the left to avoid pinching between the fence and blade
 • The granite table expands up to 40" x 27"
 • A blade guard system with anti-kickback pawls keeps the piece you're working on from shifting
 • The T-style rip fence is built from a steel tube and has unsaturated polyester side panels for accuracy
 • Maximum cut depth is 3 5/16 in. at 90 degrees and 2 1/4 in. at 45 degrees
 • Rip capacities of 30 in. on the right and 13 1/2 in. on the left
 • The rip fence can be set within 1/64 in. of perpendicular to the table, and its rail system can lock into position
 • Four in. dust port
 • The cast iron trunnion system is mounted on the cabinet to rigidly support the blade and reduce vibration
 • Also included: Push stick, miter gauge, blade wrench and blade guard
 • Weighs 485 lbs.
 • Assembly required
 • 1-year general warranty

Worm Drive for Elevation Failed in 24 months
I am loosing faith in craftsman products. Bought this saw AUG 2011 and it failed MAR 2013. I should have kept my old Cast Iron Craftsman Table saw I bought when I was twelve 26 years ago. It is still going strong at a buddies of mine's house. I bought this saw as an upgrade but now have sever regrets. With occasional use the worm gear and pintle failed on the blade elevation. The pintle teeth have a nice half moon worn into them and the worm drive is worn on one side. Very poor design to fail this quickly. I try and raise the blade and it just falls. Repair parts are costing me $75. Even my wife is giving me flak saying I told you to buy the "Saw Stop" but I told her that my last saw was a craftsman and this one will last just as long. What happened to craftsman quality? I had a leaf blower from 1984-2011. Bought a new craftsman and went through 2 in 1 week and finally just bought a husqvarna and no issues. Looks like the early 80s was when you could buy quality at sears.

Great saw for the money

I've been considering buying this saw for a couple of years. I had a big project coming up requiring ripping a lot of 3/4" plywood and decided to bite the bullet. The unit was shipped to my local store and I transported it home on a small trailer. After removing the heavier parts while still on the trailer, a friend and I worked the saw out of the frame and onto a heavy duty roller stand. It took me about 5 hours total, working alone, to assemble and adjust the saw. There were no real issues but suggestions in these reviews helped. I replace the Sears blade with a 64 tooth Avanti blade. The saw cuts great, it rips through 3/4" plywood like butter. The fence is accurate, easy to set up and locks down square. This is a great addition to any workshop.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great saw for the money! Best in class!

I am new to woodworking and, after returning another Craftsman table saw made of plastic with an aluminum fence that wouldn't rip 3/4" plywood and was dangerous to use, and then buying this one for about 3 times the money all I can say is WELL WORTH IT! However, I must say that if you want a mobile base, get the Steel City Tool Works Model 80202 mobile base and add hardwood shims to it. I also added a 3/4" birch plywood base to that mobile base under the saw. SCTW also sells the dado insert as well as a zero clearance insert. Just go to their website and contact them with the model number on your user manual (which was written very well and was easy to follow). As for dado sets, I prefer Freud Diablo. The 8" set I bought works great with this saw. I am very happy to have this saw and look forward to many years of good service. It isn't a high end saw with a large extension table, but it'll do everything I want it to do. I built a nice crosscut sled for it and have been able to use the supplied miter gauge with some Rockler.com jig parts to extend its capabilities. I would also highly recommend that you purchase the 5-year in home warranty from Sears. You can have this saw tuned up once a year as part of that deal. My saw arrived perfectly aligned, fortunately. Craftsman has a really great opportunity to recapture the market in this area of low priced high end power tools, but they have to be better at telling their own story. I find that Sears Parts Direct has some issues that need to be resolved. Their database needs updating to give accurate information.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

No Dado Blade Insert

Nice saw if you don't plan on doing any dado blade work...They don't make a dado blade insert for the table...At least the dado blade insert available on-line doesn't list the compatible table saw model numbers as this saw being one...Manual says you can use up to a 5/8" x 8" x 13/16" dado blade.. no information regarding insert... calling parts dept. Monday & see what's up?

CRAFTSMEN PROFESSIONAL HYBRID TABLE SAW

Powerfull, Quiet running saw. Granite top is really nice. Fence works great. Didn't like how the fence goes past the table top to the right. 1/4'' plywood goes under fence while cutting. Ordered another right hand replacement granite top 55 lbs more. Made framework with 1/2 by 1/2 aluminum square stock. bolted to the frame. Set screws in sqare stock for leveling it. Drilled 2 holes for table extension to bolt it in place. The table is now 50'' wide. Made a base with wheels. Now 1/4'' plywood cuts nice. Plus got the floor model for $900.00. A lot of saw for the money...

Good fit between amatuer and professional.

Very heavy saw - took a bit of time to assemble. Mine was missing some screws - I had to pick up at the local hardware saw.

Good deal for the money

I decided with two teenage boys home from college over the holidays, I would pick this beast up myself and save the delivery charge. I?m a cheap *******. It took 3 guys at the local Sears hardware to wheel it out on a heavy duty hand held fork lift and tilt it up into the bed of my Dakota pickup. Once home, I backed the P/U into the shop and one son climbed in back and pushed while the other son and I lifted the front edge and pulled it out. We gently lowered it to the ground while sliding it off the tailgate. It was not too difficult for the three of us. If you only got one helper, I would advise against this method and spring for the delivery. Assembly was pretty simple, but very time consuming. Took about 3-4 hours. I took my time and did each step perfect. Have not yet built anything?Just made a few sample cuts with scrap. It runs smooth and quiet. It looks to be an awesome saw.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Nice saw

I bought this saw as a Christmas present to me! I had my two teenage boys home from college so I decided against the delivery charge. With two in college, a guys gotta save a dime when he can. I picked up from our local sears hardware store. It took 3 kids to load in the back of my Dakota pick-up. They basically wheeled it out on a large manual fork lift, then leaned it onto its back and slid it in. When I got home, one son climbed in the back and pushed while my other son and I lifted the front edge and pulled. We were able to gently guide it off the back of the tailgate and onto a spot in the garage where it sat for a couple weeks.

Yesterday (12/28/12) my 77yr old dad and I assembled it. We followed the directions to a tee and had no issues. It took us about 4 hours. We took our time and carefully read each step.
All parts arrived safe. It was really well packed. It runs great. Very smooth and quiet. I have only cut a single piece of scrap thus far, but it cut real nice. First project will be a torsion box assembly table and stand. Videos 18 and 19 from TheWoodWhisperer dot com website under "video projects".
Now I am left with a ton of packing material, including a steel cage. Garbage day is Monday.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Absolutely the most outstanding tool I have ever owned.

I already own a Craftsman 10" table saw that is about 10 years old. It works perfectly and a new blade every now and then and I am good to go. I have found the table gets a little sticky. This new saw it is like the material is floating on air. Great power, easy material handling, fantastic accuracy and pure pleasure in operation. My wife asked me why do you think you need a new saw. My answer, because I want one. Compared to the others I shopped, I got the Rolls Royce instead of settling for just the Caddy for about the same money. Merry Christmas to me and I will have a much Happier New Year.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
