I worked for many years as an aircraft mechanic and owned a significant number of different rollaway and toolbox combinations. One shop provided a double-wide rollaway and top box to store the shop tools. The set was so big and heavy we (the shop denizens) decided to pull the top box off the rollaway and set it on a workbench. This dropped the overall height of the top compartment to where we could actually see what was in it and made if more convenient to retrieve tools from the drawers. This tool box is extremely well made and you will get years of use from it. I would suggest you consider setting it on a low workbench if you are thinking of getting one. When I received the chest I had to remove some of the drawers and work on the locking system to get it to work. It took several hours of work filing the parts to get them to operate correctly. Other than that I really like the chest. The cabinet I got was OK from the start.
