YES YES YES and YES. I LOVE IT
This table saw is AWESOME. I have had and still do a radial arm saw and a smaller bench top 10" table saw. I was making drawers for my kitchen cabinets and just could not get the accuracy OR had problems if cutting large stock (on radial arm saw). So either or. I started looking for a better/larger table saw and they are plentiful for 1000$ and up. I got this on sale for less than 1/2 that. I discovered the following: If you take your time, you can set this saw up so that it is very very accurate. It makes nice square cuts, and doesn't have heeling, kickbacks or other issues. The dust system is very simple, in fact, it works so well I disconnected it from my dust collector. The saw dust falls straight down into a funnel in the bottom I put a bucket under it and when its full, it goes in the compost pile or garden. The dust collector did only slightly better, but its noisy. This leads me to my one minor complaint and that is even with a dust collector (vacuum to clarify) lots of saw dust collects on table and work. Some expensive saws have system that comes down through blade guard etc, whatever. I just keep a little shop brush handy and brush down through blade, (then down into my bucket). The vacuum didn't get any of top dust, so I unhooked. The saw is powerful, and the table large enough to do sheet of plywood (with effort) but I had NO CHANCE to ever consider that. I couldn't cut anything more than about 18" because radial arm would not extend that far out and little table saw fence only went to about 15-16" This saw does it all, dado, large stock, accurate cuts, and power. I love it and for the price? WOW what are you going to suggest in place of it for under 500? There is NOTHING. This is an excellent value and an excellent saw. If you are thinking of stepping up to a bigger better saw? GO FOR IT. Disregard some of the reviews, some people compare this to a 3500 cabinet saw and thats ridiculous. For the price you cannot beat this and even saws costing 1000$ dont always compete. Its a great buy and a great saw. I love it. Best purchase I ever made, my woodworking has improved 100% and the scope and kinds of projects are now limited only by my improving skill and time available. I can do anything I need to do with this saw. Definitely a "5".

DO NOT BUY, this saw is DANGEROUS and cannot be adjusted properly
After hours of careful setup and assembly, this saw is a real lemon. The parallelism of the blade to the miter slots changes with the height of the blade. This problem cannot be adjusted. Also the miter slots are different sizes. I made a jig that works great in the left slot but when i tried it in the right the miter bar would not even fit in the slot. Last and worst of all is the fence. HOURS spent trying to set it up correctly then rip about 30 ft of 3/4 oak. 1st cut=1.5 inches, last cut =1.625 inches. And I never touched the fence once. Even a tiny adjustment tighter on the adjustment nut and the fence is too stiff to even slide. Oh also the blade that comes with the saw was WARPED. It would not cut worth a **** so I put a micrometer on it and it was over .015 of an inch different when spinning the blade. All of these things are a deal breaker for me and I think ************** builds more solid tools....I mean toys. This is not a pro tool. It is a DANGEROUS anchor.

      Amazing Saw

Amazing Saw! Weighs a ton though. Put it together in 3 hours with the help my father, then went to cutting. We cut plywood, 2x4 and 5/4 oak without the saw slowing down. The blade that's sent with it is perfect for rough sawing, but I plan on putting on a 60 tooth for final sawing. It's an amazing saw for the money, so happy I went with craftsman! Would buy again!!!

      Excellent saw for the money!

Unlike others who post reviews as their product comes out of the box, I have owned this saw for over three years. I am very pleased with this saw and have been, right after I finished putting it together. Some thoughts: 1. Out of the box, I had the saw squared up and ready to go in minutes. 2. The saw is able to rip long pieces of lumber smoothly. Only when using pressure-treated lumber does it slow a bit. At these times I remember that "patience is a virtue" and I did not purchase a $1000+ saw. 3. The wheels are solid and easily maneuver the saw around my shop or out the door. 4. The fence slides like the rails are buttered and easily locks in place using the adjustment screws. I have never experienced drift during/after cuts. 5. Reaching into the saw, it's a little tight for me to get my Freud dado stack installed. I can do it, but the space could be a little roomier. 6. Don't set a cup with condensation on the metal top (non-painted area). It will rust a cup-ring. I don't know if this is due to the quality of the steel or not, as mentioned in other reviews. 7. I have also seen many reviews that highlight the assembly of this product. Yes, it is a bit challenging. I had to jimmy the table onto the base by loosening all the "red" leg portions and then re-tightening them. Other than that, it is just a bit difficult to maneuver the sheer weight of the saw during the assembly process. I purchased this table saw on sale, with a 10% off coupon. I walked out of the store for about $475 (in 2011). After my father, a lifelong woodworker, visited my shop, he went home and purchased the same saw. He too struggled with the assembly, but is just as pleased as I have been with the saw's performance. In the end, I have found this to be an outstanding saw at a price that allows non-professionals (or the non-wealthy) to enjoy having a tool that they can count upon to get the job done.

      Cannot true this saw

Really disappointed in my new Sears Craftsman Table Saw (351.218330). I have an older Sears Craftsman Table saw (113.241691) that I purchased back in the mid 1980?s. This old saw works great. I had an idea that since I was now retired and would be doing more hobby wood working that I should upgrade my saw. I purchased this new saw in July 2014, put it in the garage and never turned it on until Dec 2014 ? going to make a few Christmas presents for my grandchildren. Boy was I surprised, I have spent hours trying to get the new saw true. I am not new to wood working. I have a Sears Craftsman Radial Saw (113.197750) purchased in 1978, a Sears Craftsman 12 in Band Saw (113.243311) purchased in 1985, a host of other Craftsman hand tools. These old tools are still working just like new and will hold a true cut. Looks like this new Craftsman Table Saw is going to just be a rough cut saw and a table for junk ? cannot trust it to cut true. I wish I had used this saw in the first month that I purchased it. If I had I would have taken it back. My bad for believing in a brand. Appears Sears Craftsman tools are dropping in quality.

      Good solid table saw

I bought this saw after thinking about buying one for a long time. I wanted a saw with a good stable base, large enough table top to support the item being cut at a reasonable price. Compared to other movable saws, this top is a fair size then others. Although, the saw is heavy, and moves good around the shop floor with the wheels, it is not easly moved from a truck to work site. But it is not that kind of saw. So, for working a shop, and wanting to move it from time to time, and have a good solid base to work from, this is a good saw for the money. ALSO, the guide fence is pretty accurate, just set it using the guide scale and it will be pretty true. Only bad, the directions was not clear and it took about 8 hours to assemble.

      Excellent saw for the money

This saw is amazing. Very solid, well built, and with focus and attention on fine adjustments during the assembly process, it is highly accurate. The only thing I'm still trying to adjust is the fence. The fence has leveling screws but all they seem to do is make the fence ride tight after it's level. I added some strips of painters tape and made it level but eventually I will replace it with an aftermarket fence, like Biesmeyer. But now the fence is square and the saw performs beautifully. Definitely a great centerpiece for my shop.

the price its good, but some things could be better

After a time cutting with this saw I can tell you it is excellent for plywood, MDF and softwoods . There is no vibration , its silent, and the ON/OFF switch very well located and convenient. It is a very safe machine when all attachments are used properly. I really like using it. I was a little disappointed when I cut hardwoods or large sections. the engine seems to be less than what it says (comparing it with other saws) I have reviewed many times the cutting guide , the angle , I even changed the replacement saw disk and nothing seems to change. The saw slows down or even stops when cutting 2x4 pine wood. You have to cut it very slow, and that burns the wood some times. I'll think of a saw with more power in the future for hardwoods, may be in some other brand.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Useless

I'm having trouble getting the ripping fence adjusted, the mechanism is pretty Mickey Mouse, and the riving knife doesn't line up perfectly sometimes. I called Sears and they sent a guy over and he agreed, authorizing about $150 in parts to be sent, including the entire aluminum box frame, and the damaged aluminum guide rail in front. That was in May, four telephone calls later and I'm told the parts probably aren't coming before the one year warranty runs out and a replacement offer will cost me almost $250 more, or 50% more. Take it or leave it. Now the saw is worse, self destructing a little more each time I move the fence. Never again Sears. This saw is priced very low so you can expect some minor problems, but when they happen, the warranty process is only for show and will just waste hours of time and make you a lot more angry.

      Great home shop saw

For projects around the house this saw works great. Should be easier to setup but when that is done it works well. Its has really big boxes if you don't have a pick up truck think about having it delivered.
