Craftsman Professional  11 pc. Metric Full Polish 12 pt. Stubby Combination Wrench Set

I purchased the SAE Craftsman set in 2010, great set of Made in USA VV wrenches. I received this set which is not a Craftsman Professional set, although that is what the title says, thinner handles and no raised centers typical of VV wrenches. Says on the Package made in China. I can get a set of this quality at ************** for under 20 dollars.The photo is misleading and shows VV wrenches. The heads are 20% larger than the VV wrenches and limit their use in tight places. Not good for a Stubby wrench which is intended to get into tight places. Returned them, probably the last Craftsman tool I will ever buy and I own a garage full. Sears you have lost another loyal customer.

Don't order these expecting your normal excellent made in USA wrench set. These are made in CHINA! Look pretty good but they have HUGE open end heads and are VERY thick! Not at all what I wanted in a stubby. Took them back for a refund.

The wrenches pictured are verry well made whether they are made in china or not and i would put above matco and about equal to snap on in quality.  I ordered this set and was sent similar but lower quality wrenches that had a more rounded open end and a fatter 12pt end then the wrenches pictured and i had to return them and buy the set individualy.  I bought both the metric and standard and returned both

They are made in China... I returned them !!

Oh boy, where do I start? I read the reviews that the current made sets were Chinese in origin but decided to buy on-line anyways as I did not think they could be that bad. I was wrong, they are that bad.

When I opened the box, I looked at 11 pieces of chrome steel that looked like they were forged for a children's play set. They were that boxy and over-sized. The jaw opening end on the larger sizes was way undercut for depth. These wrenches were totally unacceptable to me.

I decided the same night that I received them, I was going to either exchange them for a USA made set or get the refund. With receipt in hand I made my way to a local Sears and was very lucky to get the last USA made set they had on the rack. Very sad as all their replacement will be these Chinese made aberration's.

I pray and hope that this USA made replacement set will last my lifetime as I do not want to warranty any replacement pieces with the Chinese made ones.

It may seem hard to understand why one would need such a small wrench, even for a 3/4" fastener, but these are great wrenches to have. They work excellent as a back-up on a nut and also work very well in hard to reach places.

I added these to my tool arsenal a while back and have enjoyed them ever since. Sturdy enough to handle every day use and the polished finish on them make them look brand new every day. I just wish they would come out with a 6 point set as well. i even went the extra mile and filled in the skipped sizes to complete the set.

Heavy weight, strong handle, precision jaws, brilliantly polished finish, thoughful size assortment and they look so darn cute.  These stubbies are the bee's knees.  Buy them.

great wrenches. the professional series tools from crafsman work as well as many other more expensive brands. the only problem i had with these wrenches is that some of the larger sizes are too short.  i wish they were just a little less stubby.

I am a diesel mechanic and have had this set since 2002. They are of top notch quality. My only complaint would be the contents of the set. I have learned the hard way to check sets when I buy them. They skip 11 and 16 mm. I bought those two from open stock, so it was no big deal, but on most engines, 10, 13 and 16mm are the must have size wrenches. So as long as you know to buy the skipped wrenches to fill in the set, you won't be disappointed in these.
