Was listed as the professional line on Sears website. The item is a Chinese copy. Use my tools in a aviation setting these are not my first choice for the job.

I had to buy a replacement for my origional set and was very disappointed to see that Sears is selling a different wrench than what were in my origional set. The finish on the wrench is inferior. The thickness around the box end is thicker, as in a cheaper wrench, where in the origional it was thin to fit in tighter clearances, as is seen with a Snap-On brand combo wrench.

These wrenches are the better ones that Craftsman produces. In a time when many of their items have decreased in quality, I can always depend on these wrenches lasting. They are a close second to my Snap-on equivalents.

Bought in store the same SKU. Was not branded as professional and made in china. Also the heads were much larger and not machined correctly. The laser etching was also not very good.

These "Professional" tools are, unfortunately, made in China! Come on Sears! You sell three tiers of tools under the Craftsman name: Evolv, Craftsman, and Craftsman Professional. I can understand and accept the Evolv line of tools to compete with the Chinese imports, but the Professional line? Make us pay more for a "Professional" tool and make it in the USA. You have the Evolv line for Chinese import tools.

People ask me all the time why I invest in Professional Grade hand tools. Is there something wrong with the Craftsman Standard Wrenches? Of course not!

My father always told me that it only cost a little more to go 1st Class. Now I don't always have the opportunity to follow that advise. I don't drive a tricked out, brand new F350 with all of the bells and whistles. in fact I drive a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD.

But tools aren't trucks. And with tools I can afford to go 1st Class. So why not?

The Professional Combo Wrenches come with a highly polished chrome finish. Sure, that makes them look cool, but the real advantage comes from the ease of cleaning. You see my father also taught me that the job isn't done until the tools are cleaned and put away.

My father was a very smart man. You should follow his advice.

Nice set of wrenches. Would have preferred to have a case with the set. Nothing was offerred at the Sears Store were I purchased the wrenches.

I was looking to upgrade from my old raised panel classic craftsman wrench set. I had been wanting the Craftsman Professional wrenches for a long time. Finally with a 10% of sale, I made the leap and ordered them. I ordered both the standard and metric sets. I will spare you the LONG ordeal with getting my order and eventually returning it. When I received my wrench I was somewhat surprised to learn that Sears has outsourced the manufacture of these wrenches to China. The picture shown with the USA on the wrenches is 100% wrong!!! I do not automatically discount tools from China, but I also do not expect to pay a premium for Chinese wrenches. I also compared this set to a old USA set of this same model. My observations: 1. The finish of wrenches is not as smooth and even as the USA set. 2. The openings on the open end of the wrenches are not polished smooth and are poorly machined. The openings are not 100% true to size. 3. The overall feel and quality was not what I expected. 4. I did not actually try to use these wrenches for their intended purpose, since I had paid for one product and received another. They probably would have worked for their intended purpose (with the exception of the size accuracy issue). I returned them.

Craftsman Professional 13 pc. Standard 12 pt Combination Set – I have owned this set of wrenches as a part of the 26 piece set for many years; I am thinking 20 plus. In that time they have travelled around the world with me and have never let me down. With bicycles and skateboards, the set has proven resilient against two sons who on occasion have left the set or a single wrench outside in the elements. Other than a few barely noticeable scratches, the set looks like new. A few years ago I did have to replace one that sprouted legs and walked away, of course neither son knew how that happened but today; I am unable to tell which one was replaced the older wrenches have stood up so well over the years. Too bad we don’t stand up this well.
