Good tools

These wrenches are pretty stout. The ones I own, I got a few years ago and have only used a few times. They are ideal for really tight locations where you can't get a socket or standard sized wrench. The only bad thing about these wrenches is that they are not made in the USA.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great way to get USA Made Stubbys.

I purchased the sets at the store and realized when I got home that they were made in China. I know Sears says they will still honor the lifetime warranty but the object is to not have to warranty them. I heard about this set being available and that a few were still being sent out with Made In The USA wrenches. Well I got lucky and get a set. I know its 2 pieces less than if you purchased the instore ones but the 2 larger ones that you are missing look like lobster claws anyways so they are not worth having.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Maximum Value for a Great Price

I received these for Christmas.. I have to say this is the most complete set of stubby wrenches I have ever seen. The set is well made, with very few pieces that you would have to go to the store to purchase to fill out the set. The chrome on the wrenches make this set really stand out. This set is a great price also, you can't find a better made set for this price.. Craftsman really needs a wrench holder for these fine wrenches, I don't really want to just throw them into my toolbox and scratch them.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

You'll wonder why you didn't purchase these sooner

There are times you need a wrench a little shorter than your trusty C-Man raised panel. There are times you need a wrench to back up another wrench or a socket. There are times you just need a wrench. Times like that is when you need these wrenches. Missed out on these Made In USA wrenches? Search on line-Wrench Set - 9-34956 you just might find your C-Man Full Polish Stubby Wrench Set. No Luck? Fear Not- SK, Wright and Armstrong Tools are another source for stubby polished wrenches.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Your last chance at owning USA made Craftsman Stubbies

This is it folks, your last chance at owning stubbies that aren't from China.  The 20 piece set is Made in the USA.  Tack on the Craftsman Professional 5/16 inch, 1 inch, 9 mm and 22 mm and you have the full 24 piece Made in the USA set.  These USA stubbies are so superior to the 11 piece Metric and 11 piece SAE made in China garbage that Sears is selling right now, it's seriously beyond belief.  These are thinner, have a better polish, feel better and are obviously built with pride.   Here's the only problem:   if you lose or (and I don't know how you'd ever do this) break one of these, you'll probably never have another chance on replacing them with the same quality tool, which means that the Craftsman Lifetime Warranty is a bit of a joke.  That said, these are being sold at a steal, so get them while you still can.  This review is reliable is as of Oct. 25, 2011.  I won't speak for what's still around after this, but wow, when these showed up in the mail last night, I was completely impressed.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

An Almost Complete Set...

Hello! My name is tuned944 and I am a tool-aholic.

I don't feed my addiction with just any old tools, though. I am selective. I pride myself on only collecting Craftsman Tools. The follow is my story regarding one of the unsung heroes of my toolbox.

I work on cars from time to time, but the real mechanic in the family is my 27 year old son, Nathan. Together, we buy 1980's model Porsches and restore them. Often these cars need lots of work. The average fellow will tell you that Porsches specifically and import cars in general are hard to work on. We haven't found this to be the case. The design and engineering that we have encountered has been fairly straight-forward. German engineers are known for the extreme attention to simplistic design.

There is however one hurdle that you must overcome if you want to perform major mechanical repairs on Porsches. You have to be able to work in close quarters. You see, those same engineers are also known to be extremely efficient with their use of space. It is a good thing, however, because with all of the mechanical pieces that go under the hood of a Porsche, there isn't any room to waste.

During our first couple of repairs, prior to learning this lesson, we made the job much more complicated that it needed to be. We thought the only way to get to a fastener on Part A was to remove Part B. One day we were wondering around the Tool Department at our local Sears store and we ran across a set of Craftsman Professional Stubby Metric Wrenches. It was almost like a light bulb switched on in both of our brains at the same time. We bought the set and all of the extra fill-in sizes needed to complete the set and headed home. Our next repair job went much smoother.

Having the right tools for the job is important. Having the lifetime warranty of Craftsman standing behind those tools is important too!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
