Craftsman Professional 20 volt Lithium-ion Drill
As the new drill on the job , My Craftsman drill was used by several work partners for two days and it won every contest against Dewalt, Hilti and Makita for strength , runtime, balance and the longest lasting charge. I install commercial cabinetry in Hospitals and Schools 10 hours a day. This drill seems to be the best available at a good price. My super owns most of the drills available and in his 19 years of installing cabinetry this Craftsman is the best drill he has used. I bought this so no one would steal my batteries like with the more poplar drills and now there are gonna be other Craftsman on the job real soon! This drill has all the strength you need. It is not possible to hold the chuck while operating, it is that powerful. The weight for a 20 volt drill is good and the big "footprint" lets you set this down with little attention while you are working. The work light is amazing. This drill is more than any homeowner will ever need and will be excellent for heavy construction use. This drill was the life of the job for a few days and I'm happy with the purchase. I'm buying the impact driver next. !!

TOTALLY USELESS....Does Not Include a Battery

NoBattery.....Nothing in listing stated there was not a battery....There was a small note on side of ther box that I doubt Superman could even read as the font was so small that no battery was included.   I did not find out until I arrived home & opened the box.   What a scam......What am I supposed to do with a battery operated drill and no battery to operate it.    Sears, NEVER AGAIN!

    Crafsman Pro 26302 Cordless Drill

I replaced a similar Crafsman Drill I had for over 15 years. The only reason I needed to replace it was that the charger quit working - everything was still working great other than I couldn't charge the batteries and could not find a replacement charger. I am kind of glad now since I got this one because it is quite a super upgrade and I really love it. It has plenty of power and battery life is great. Nice having the light. I would 100% reccamend this drill!

    Powerful drill

Great drill, had it for about 3 years or so; but then last summer for some reason, inexplicably, pieces began falling out of the drill, and when I would run it, it began smelling like something was burning.

So I took it apart and put the peices back in, replaced a few other parts and put it back together.  Couldn't figure out how the torque tensioner worked, so that ended up locking into one spot, but I don't think it was re-connected in a way that actually did anything, so I'm not worried about; besides, I never changed that setting any way.  It finally works again; and I love it.  There was a time I wasn't sure if I could get it back together, or if I did, if it would work; and I was contemplating just getting a new drill - and I definitely considered getting one just like it, or of least comparable design and strength.  I'm pleased not to have to do so and to have my great 20v drill working again.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman Professional Cordless Drill is powerful and dependable

I have owned my Craftsman Professional Cordless Drill/Driver for almost 3 years. I love it. The battery life constantly outlasts my friends cordless drills when we are working on projects. It has the power to do the job and does not start to slow down until the battery is just about used up.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The best cordless drill I have ever used

This is, without a doubt, the best cordless drill I have ever used. I have had this drill for six months and it hasn't let me down AT ALL. In 1998, I purchased a DeWalt 18-Volt cordless drill. It was great. I was so happy with it that I purchased another after 5 years of heavy use. The second DeWalt was horrible. I then purchased a 19.2-Volt Craftsman set. It was not incredible, but it was worth what I paid for it. I needed another drill for a series of projects. I was inclined toward another 19.2-Volt drill, but saw the 20-Volt set and purchased it because of the Lithium battery.  My son and I installed two decks and sided our home.  After all that, the drill still runs like it was new.  The batteries recharge quickly and one is done well before the other is dead--even with heavy use.  As with most cordless drills, it is well balanced.

I am not sure why Craftsman promotes the LED so heavily--it's really not bright enough to do much good; I wish there were an off switch for the LED.  One note: as with other reviewers, one of my batteries just doesn't seem right. If I drain it all the way, it will indicate that it is a faulty battery when I try to charge it.  Once I let it sit for a half hour, it works just fine.  I currently don't let it get less than 25% charge. I am afraid that this particular battery may cause me problems in the future. This one battery problem does not keep me from loving this drill, though.  I'll never buy another DeWalt.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Most powerful cordless drill I've ever used

Simply the best cordless drill I have ever used and I have tried many.  Battery life is fantastic and the fact that it's Litium and  doesn't lose power as it's charge gets low is great.  There is a a battery charge level indicator on the battery that allows you to check how much charge is left.  The batteries charge quickly as well to keep you working.  Haven't found a job this drill couldn't handle yet.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

    excellent drill

This drill has power and gets the job done.  You won't be unhappy with it!  We bought it to use as a standby, but it has become the go to item in the tool box.

If you are unsure about this one or the cheaper one, I would advise purchasing this item.
