Stay away from this tool. The blade pop out whenever you do any kind of an angle.
i recently bought the craftsman 360 saws all , i used it wice, only for a few minutes, the second time i used it , it broke, the head were the blade goes in snapped, and i had to use my finger to pull the spring back to get the blade out, after one month of owning it, using it twice and it breaking , it also did not cut very good, very slow and no power , i have always been a craftsman fan , i do not recomend the 360 reciprocating saw , they are junk, they should recall them and build a better, more rugged one. i only bought it for the 360 option , in wich you rarely use, the best saws all is the milwaukie, 10 times better/stronger and doesnt feel like a toy, if someone needs a saws all, go with millwaukie.
I have come to trust the quality Craftsman tools, particularly hand tools. With regard to Craftsman's Recipricating Saw I find the machine adequate for home and small worksite applications. I have a little bit of a hard time characterizing the saw as "professional" grade. I also have a Porter Gable RS and it is a true heavy duty machine. Of couse there is price, the Craftsman was around $100.00 and the Porter Gable was $800.00. So on the whole, I think I made a good purchase and as long as I don't expect more of the saw than it is capable of giving, I expect years of satisfaction.
Great saw really feels solid and the quick change feature for the blades is really awesome used the saw to trim some thick vines and it was like a hot knife through butter couldn't be happier
My son is an Electrican that does lots of home improvement projects at home on the weekends. This reciprocating saw is amazing. The variable speed feature makes it great for lots of different jobs.
