I have Craftsman Professional 5 in. Long Nose Pliers in the 5 piece set. These pliers are well thought out for both comfort and function. I have had my set for a decade and they have never failed me on numerous projects. Many times long nose pliers tend to snap off usually at the most inopportune moment but not these; they are made of hard steel that resists breakage even from the toughest of jobs. After all this time the entire set still looks like new. Part of this is from the handy carrying case but the rest is from the AWESOME quality put into every Craftsman product. I strongly recommend these pliers for anyone doing any type of small detail work.

I'm usually not a precision minded guy. In fact you might even call me a 'grab a hammer and beat it into submission' kind of guy. Over the years I've grown very frustrated by intricate detail work. I realize now it was because I didn't have the correct tool for the job. The little pliers are great. There are small enough to reach into most areas without disturbing anything around them. The pack all of the benefits and features of their bigger siblings and sport the traditional Craftsman lifetime warranty. All of this for under $10 - How can you go wrong?

These things are small, they look fragile but they can take a lot of abuse. These are my work pliers i have had this set for almost 2 years now i have been doing electrical work and i have used them for a lot of different things including working on my truck or getting parts off of cars in the junk yard. Not only have i used these at work but these were also my fishing pliers used on a daily basis during the summer. If i was to recommend any tool this would be the one an excellent quality product for the price and size. The only reason i have had to give them up is because of self stupidity, after fishing i left them in the back of my truck, didn't think about it for a week and then they where rusted and unable to open as efficiently as they did at one time. Due to the legendary Craftsman warranty on mechanics tools I will be getting a new set once I get off of work.
