I got my Craftsman Professional 5- pc Stubby torx Screwdriver Set quite a while back and they have seen quite a bit of use and still in great shape and tough as a bed of nails. I had a small engine repair shop and used this set on just about everything. Small as chainsaws & weed trimmers all the way up to lawn tractors and sand buggies. These tools have seen some auto work too, but most of the work I used them on was tractors, 4-wheelers, and sand buggies. Tough tips and great torque without rounding or twisting. They hang in a peg rack in my shop at my workbench as we speak. My small engine repair shop is shut down now, but these still see some work for personal work and they look just as good as they did the day that I bought them a few years ago...Nice and tough set of Torx Drivers.....

In the event you have had these on your "One of these days" list and see them in store you might want to grab a set. Things are starting to get a little sparce over @ http://www.craftsman.com/hand-tools-screwdrivers/s-1305564 there is no telling what the future will bring. What you get; A very comfortable grip design, Once you have held a Professional style handled tool you'll understand. Don't fool yourself and think your selection of interchangeable torx bits will see you through, these drivers have slender shafts and will allow you access that a thicker shaft may not. Get'em While They Got'em !

I've had several stubby screwdrivers but for tight spots these are the best. I got this Craftsman set because I couldnt fit my long ones into tight spaces. This stubby set has great grips and really do feel good in your hands. Plus they are made in USA!

I got this set on closeout for just over $10. I hope they are not discontinuing the Craftsman Professional brand. That would be a big mistake on the part of Sears as the Pro line is much better than most regular Craftsman stuff. These screwdrivers are a great value, great grip and ergonomics. Also, they come in very handy as they are the stubby size so they fit in a lot more places that the regular ones dont.

I bought these along with the 7 pc set expecting these to be smaller so i could get into those hard to reach places but at 8" they arent very small. Even though they're brand new the handles look worn and beat. Descent craftsmanship but what do you expect for about $20. Made in the USA at least unlike most of Craftsman's line of tools now.

These are must haves if you have any auto/tools with Torx Screws. BMW, Stihk, GM all use Torx. These are very well made and have a great grip.

I bought these as a tool collector that has more tools than the need for them. I was pleasantly surprised that the first couple of days I used them a few times. These stubbies are really mid -length and very useful. Torx is popular now-a-days! Craftsman quality with the great Craftsman warranty.

I remember the first time I encountered a Torx fastener was while trying to replace the Headlight of a 1990 Chevy Astro Mini-van. Since then they have become much more commonplace in the world of fasteners. The multiple contact points make for a fastener that it difficult to strip out. They can be found in a variety of applications, but are seen routinely in the automotive area. The only problem with Torx fasteners is that you need to have the correct size point on your screwdriver. They are very size specific in that regard much like nuts and bolts. If you have a tip that is too large for the fastener, it will not engage the screw and if you tip it too small, it will simple spin rendering it useless. The Craftsman Professional series of screwdrivers contains a complete line of sizes in Torx Screwdrivers. Each is made it precision specifications ensuring a perfect fitment each and every time. These quality tools are made in the USA with the same attention to detail that is seen in their Slotted and Phillips headed cousins. They include the following features: I can't think of anything I would improve. Can you?

I've had several stubby screwdrivers for tight spots but the handles were always skinny and made it difficult to remove tight screws. I got this Craftsman stubby set because I have regular-length Craftsman Professional screwdrivers and they have the best handles ever. This stubby set has the same wonderful handles.
