Craftsman Professional 7/16 In. Full Polish Long Pattern Wrench, 12 Pt. Combination Gives You Leverage

With this 7/16 full polish long pattern wrench, 12 pt. combinationyou get a little extra length to hit those bolts that sometimes are just out of reach plus a little extra leverage to remove the fastener once you reach it. At 7.23 inches long, this combination wrench is more than an inch longer than standard.

You'll love the open end on the Craftsman Professional 7/16 full polish long pattern wrench, 12 pt. combination for work such as connecting cables - no more frustrating finger fumbling. You'll love the box end for its slim profile and Headlock technology that disperses force to prevent fastener rounding. The 12 points of contact help it keep a grip on the fastener. The wrench is made from alloy steel that's heat forged and heat treated to give it a strength to match its extra leverage.

      • The 7/16 full polish long pattern wrench, 12 pt. combination gives extra room to slip into tight spots or extra leverage to crack those tough nuts
      • The Headlock box end helps disperse turning force
      • 12 points of contact on the box end
      • The alloy steel is hot forged and heat treated for extra strength
      • The traditional flat design is easy to grip
      • 7.25 inches long
      • Weighs .28 pounds
      • Fully polished finish
      • Carries the Craftsman lifetime guarantee

      PERFECT

Just received my order of fractional wrenches through Sears online.I bought all of the professional open stock wrenches 1/4"through 3/4",I already have the larger sizes from the full polish module. It is more expensive to buy them this way,but as of 10/2/14 when you order your wrenches through open stock they are all USA made stamped professional and the quality is unbelievable. You name it the chrome, the stamping, the size and consistency of the beam and offset, the accuracy of the sizing and the compact design to get in tight places plus they are longer for better leverage.I have other wrenches from Snap On and MAC tools and these are just as good.I had the unfortunate experience of buying a set of the Craftsman full polish wrenches made in China. They are marketed like these but completely different, huge lobster claw open ends, thick box ends poor quality chrome plus more defects.I replaced them all with open stock! If you need wrenches this is the route I would take.Shop around, check out the price on sets of quality US made tools.I think you'll find its cheaper to order these through open stock.Good Luck.

Made in USA, professional level wrench

The quality of finish of this wrench is the equal of any wrench I have ever laid hands on, including some very high-priced truck brands. In practical terms the full polish finish makes it very easy to wipe any oil or grease off the wrench before putting it away. Both the box end and the open end fit very precisely onto fasteners, with no unwanted free play. The length of the wrench provides plenty of leverage. I received a wrench stamped "USA". This is the kind of hand tool that should not wear out or break with normal use. I'm hoping that it will last forever and I can pass it on to my grandkids.

The Back-Bone of My Wrench Collection...

In a world where every power tool made comes with an on-board laser guidance system and almost every hand tool made has a ratcheting feature regardless of whether it needs to or not, it is really nice to know that someone still pays attention to the basic bread-and-butter combination wrench. My friends have Snap-on and Matco Tools and even they admit that these Craftsman Full Polish Combination Wrenches are their equal. I think they are better!

These wrenches are amazingly well balanced. The handle is designed with a long reach to give you the maximum amount of leverage. One of the best features of these wrenches is the finish. These things look like jewelry. I know; who needs bling in their toolbox, right? Well, other than great looks, the highly polished finish makes cleaning the tool a snap. Simply wipe it off with a shop towel before you pack it away and it will remain looking new for years.

You might want to consider starting your collection by purchasing the 9 piece set which contains the 1/4 ", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2 ", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16" and 3/4 " sizes. The rest of the size assortment can then be purchased through the Craftsman Open Stock Program. This method will save you some money!

Remember that quality workmanship requires quality tools!

      A must buy for anyone!

In tools, i look for durability and liability. Take craftsman for example, they have great strong tools and if one fails or breaks then sears will replace it. No questions asked. this is a must have tool for anyone.

Made in the USA wrench gets the job done.

I have been putting together a set of the professional combination wrenches piece by piece.  I've used the 7/16" wrench many times and it really fits the fasteners tight with little play.  If you're lucky, your local Sears will still have the Made in the USA version on the shelf.  I'd avoid the Made in China version, as the openings are not nearly as consistent or precise on the fastener.  I know because i've measured them with dial calipers.

      seen better

This wrench is not the quality of it's predecessor, the long pattern professional wrench. It appears Sears went with a cheaper manufacturer. Still a good wrench, just not as good.
