The Back-Bone of My Wrench Collection...

In a world where every power tool made comes with an on-board laser guidance system and almost every hand tool made has a ratcheting feature regardless of whether it needs to or not, it is really nice to know that someone still pays attention to the basic bread-and-butter combination wrench. My friends have Snap-on and Matco Tools and even they admit that these Craftsman Full Polish Combination Wrenches are their equal. I think they are better!

These wrenches are amazingly well balanced. The handle is designed with a long reach to give you the maximum amount of leverage. One of the best features of these wrenches is the finish. These things look like jewelry. I know; who needs bling in their toolbox, right? Well, other than great looks, the highly polished finish makes cleaning the tool a snap. Simply wipe it off with a shop towel before you pack it away and it will remain looking new for years.

You might want to consider starting your collection by purchasing the 9 piece set which contains the 1/4 ", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2 ", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16" and 3/4 " sizes. The rest of the size assortment can then be purchased through the Craftsman Open Stock Program. This method will save you some money!

Remember that quality workmanship requires quality tools!

A must buy for anyone!

In tools, i look for durability and liability. Take craftsman for example, they have great strong tools and if one fails or breaks then sears will replace it. No questions asked. this is a must have tool for anyone.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Made in the USA wrench gets the job done.

I have been putting together a set of the professional combination wrenches piece by piece.  I've used the 7/16" wrench many times and it really fits the fasteners tight with little play.  If you're lucky, your local Sears will still have the Made in the USA version on the shelf.  I'd avoid the Made in China version, as the openings are not nearly as consistent or precise on the fastener.  I know because i've measured them with dial calipers.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

seen better

This wrench is not the quality of it's predecessor, the long pattern professional wrench. It appears Sears went with a cheaper manufacturer. Still a good wrench, just not as good.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
