Craftsman Professional  8 ft. Backwall - Black

When I picked my product up, the bottom right panel was severly bent by forklift forks at the edge that slide into the bottom metal mount. Luckly, I purchased the 5in clamps and bent the metal back to its proper shape. Other than that I was really happy. The service the store was great, they informed me of the damage and told I coud leave it or take it home. It was really easy to assemble and works great. I am truely hapry with this product . Even though it had damage to the product I was able to fix it. My review goes towards the product and how happy I am with it and not the incident that took place during shipment. If you buy this product you have the option to leave it and the store will order you a replacement and its the best time to inspect it before you leave. You risk problems, because the company doesnt know what you did after you leave the store. I feel bad for individuals who have had issues, but I woudn't have taken the product, If I knew I couldn't fix it myself.

Craftsman Professional 8 ft. Backwall - Black, great accessory piece. I think this is the last of the professional storage we have. We have the two 31 inch cabinets hanging on each end, the peg board on the back of this is great for hanging tools and smaller items you don't want to lose. After reading so many comments about this set, I am sad so many other people had problems. Again we were very lucky. Our small Sears store had us open the packages before we hauled them home and everything was there, all of our pieces were in very nice shape. The only dings on them now are the ones we put there.

I recently added this backwall on my 8' professional workbench, along with two cabinets that hang on the backwall. This unit is high quality, sturdy, and offers a ton of space to use as you see fit.

Along with the cabinets, I mounted a 24" LCD TV on the backwall, along with some power tool hooks.

I received this backwall as a gift along with an 8' workbench, a tall storage cabinet, two rolling cabinets and two hanging cabinets--all from the Craftsman Professional line. I'm sure they weren't cheap yet many of the items were dented and needed to be reshaped with a rubber mallet before assembly. This wasn't a real big deal. I was a bit disappointed that they weren't protected better for shipping but the paint wasn't damaged and my repairs came out okay. However, I was given one too few of one pegboard panel and one too many of another (the kit comes with four of these pieces in two styles). I called the service number to try to have this corrected and was told that it would cost me $53.00 for the right panel. My other option was to ask the person I got this gift from to go to Sears and make an appeal for a replacement part which, I was told, wouldn't guarantee that the part would be replaced. Umm, kind of an awkward situation. "Thanks for the swell gift. Now could you go back to Sears and see if they'll be kind enough to give you the right part for this thing so I can build it the way it was meant to be built?" I didn't ask for something unreasonable from Sears. All I wanted was replacement of the useless piece with the correct one which should have been packaged right by them in the first place.

This is a good item overall lots of use and versatility since you can use to hang the matching wall cabinet to it very easily my main complaint is why most of the stuff they ship has dings and dents, can't they package their product more effectively so that when you get your product at least it wont have any big dents. The pegboard section is in 4 parts and all 4 have dents in it I called sears if they can replace it they said yes but they don't know how long it will take and plus they will ship you a whole set and take your other one I was asking if they can ship me the 4 dented ones, so I did my best to hammer straighten it out (rubber mallet work like magic) and voila it looks like brand new. for some reason if you install it the low alternate way on the work bench the middle support brack will only fit on 2 hole and not 6 as stated in the instructions, so I drilled 2 additional holes on the back of the table to just make sure its secure. Again overall it does serve its purpose.

Easy to install, lots of pegboard storage. Would be nice to get a better assortment of pegboard hooks and accessories for the price.
