This is a box of parts, unless you have carpentry experience do not buy this kit. you would be just as well off downloading a plan from the web and going to the hardware store. there are no pilot holes, no guide marks, just plans. you need drills drivers squares saw horses etc and more than one person. I am a gunsmith not a carpenter.

Beware! the 8' backwall (Model# 14944) and th 5 drawer module (Model# 10139) DO NOT FIT this bench and the only thing "customer service" will do is let you return it (if it's within 60 days) at your expense. The bench is nice but not upgradeable and after almost 20 years and a whole bunch of money spent on craftsman, the expierience I had with CS about this bench has made me decide to part company and take my money elsewhere.

This is a nice bench but dont buy anything to go with it... like the back wall or draws. I got this as a gift with the back wall and 5 draw add on only to find out that none of the parts match up. I would have returned it if it didn't weigh so much in the first place. It seems like a solid bench and after I got done cutting the bench and drilling some holes to make the back wall fit it was very nice. Although I cant use the draws. Sears needs to work on both their descriptions of products and their directions to put them together. Putting everything together was a project all in itself.

This bench is very heavy duty, but a bit misleading, you have to do 100% of the work yourself, nothing predrilled here. Also, the instructions are a bit misleading too. You have to take the time to measure both sides in order to get a centered product. The instructions tell you to measure 8 inches from right side. You'll be off center if you do that, i didnt bother to put the guide rails for the basket on, it was much more of a chore to use them then to leave them off. It's well made, but a pain to assemble, then you'll need some assistance to flip the table upright I'm 6ft3, 210 lbs, of Airborne Infantryman and I made sure i got two guys to help as to not pull the screws out of the table top. All said and done a great work surface, but it'll take some patience and ingenuity to get together properly.

Awesome workbench! Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Looks great and has plenty of room for all your projects. You will need a pickup or large van to pick it up. Also ordered 8 FT metal peg board which attaches to bench. You do have to measure and drill your own holes when assembling.

I really like this workbench and it looks great in my garage. It took some effort to put together, but it was worth it. If you plan to upgrade to a different countertop (stainless steel or butcher block) though, be sure to not purchase this product; you need only purchase the workbench frame (w/out the countertop) and the preferred countop. I made this mistake and was left with the standard 8' countertop that I had to simply give away.

The work bench is strong and a very heavy table. DO NOT put water on the tabletop for any length of time because the tabletop will bubble up. It takes away the looks of a very good looking work bench. I do like the ability to adjust the table height which saves on my back being 6'3" I have had projects where I am working in front of it for a length of time.

I truely enjoy this work bench. It took on around 30 mintues to assemble and is perfect for my needs. I was sold on this work bench for not only the Craftsman Pro name, but the additional shelves built into it. If you buy this bench, buy the bachwall too. I did.. I plan on buying the rolling and wall cabinets to go with this set up.

Craftsman Professional 8 ft. Workbench - Black, we have two of the 31" cabinets on either side of this workbench, it is very sturdy and is a great work station. We bought the larger cabinets first and the quality was great, so we bought the rest of the pieces a bit at a time. Love this series. Very nice looking.

First of all this is a very heavy/long workbench so make sure you have a truck. Would'nt fit in my Yukon. I expected the workbench to be pre-drilled for assembly but I guess Professional Series means you should have the ability to drill and measure.. Assembly was a little more time consuming than I thought it would be due to the measuring and squaring of the unit. Once done I was very pleased. This is a long, tall, heavy, well constructed unit. It's tall enough to stand and work at which I consider a pro not con.
