I ordered the Craftsman Professional 99 3/4 inch Band Saw Blade 3 Pack Assortment for my Craftsman Band Saw for the main reason of having a little more assortment in my blade arsonal. This assortment blade pack comes with: One 1/4 in. wide x 6 tooth blade (general purpose scrolling), One 3/8 in. wide x 4 tooth blade (mild contour cutting), One 1/2 in. wide x 3 tooth blade (re-sawing stock). The blades have a nice clean cut to them and have worked well on re-sawing some thick yellow pine, cedar, and walnut. I used the 1/4" blade to make some parts for some toys for my grandsons and really liked how well I was able to follow my patterns. I have not used the 3/8" blade at this time, but from what I have used the other two blades I suspect that I will get the same satisfaction. I have a few more projects to start before Christmas, so I hope to be able to add to my review. I will add, that this assortment pack has the blades for most general band sawing needs. The price is not that bad as my prior blade ran me about $20 for a single blade and the assortment pack has 3 blades for about $59, which equates out to $20 per blade. To me, that is pretty cheap for how clean they cut.

Finally, Sears has band saw blades that are worthy of the band saws they sell. I bought the new 14" saw and purchased the 3 blade assortment pack. While expensive, these blades are light-years better than previous blades I purchased from Craftsman for their 12" tilting table band saw. I just wish they were less expensive and had a (greater) selection of individual blades in this length.
