The sock are thick warm and comfortable, however they are mostly acrylic, and contain a much smaller percentage of wool.

My son needed some very warm socks for Chicago winter weather. He said these are very warm a little tick but he still liked them. He likes to ware regular shoes not boots so these where a good choice for him. This price was very good I got 3 pair for what 1 par of the shoe store socks cost. Very happy with these.

These socks are worth every penny if you are looking for a Warm, Durable, Comfortable winter sock. At the $10 price they outperform hiking socks costing much more. I am ordering my fourth pair now: my brother has also become a believer in these socks. Say goodbye to cold feet.
