Sprayed into power washer twice and it didn't free up the compressor.

With hard water I figured it was cheap insurance. Doesn't take much to lubricate pump, be ready for pressurized excess with a towel. Definitly a type of luricant/oil judging by excess solution. If can stays pressurized it may be enough for many uses.

If this helps to protect the pump in storage, it's on my workbench shelf. So far this product has kept my pressure washer ready to go each season I use it. No issues with the pump acting up or not getting pressure to "come up". Just a nice insurance policy IMO.

I was thrilled the sales person asked if I had a power washer. He suggested I buy this product, because with out it, stored in the garage. the winter weather would ruin the motor. It was very easy to use. I'm thrilled my $400 power washer is protected.

Craftsman Pressure Washer Pump Saver is easy to use and protects the pump during periods when the Pressure Washer is not in use. It doesn't get much easier than this. Simply attach the hose that is on the can to the water INLET on the pressure washer. Depress the button on top of the can to add the pump saver. Hold the button until the Pump Saver/Lubricant comes out of the water OUTLET. Release the button...you're done! It only takes seconds to protect your Craftsman Pressure Washer. Since it only takes a little to complete the job, the can of Craftsman Pump Saver will last a long time. Be sure to read the manufacturers instructions for proper preparation and storage of your pressure washer during periods when the pressure is not in use.

One can lasts several years. I leave the hose and wand attached to lubricate all the o-rings in those fittings too. My pressure washers are 8-10 years old and good as new, due to Craftsman Pump Saver.
