The Craftsman Ratcheting Band Clamp is so easy to use and so versitle. It's like having an extra set of hands. Worked great when I was repairing some dinning room table chairs and was awesome while I was gluing and assembling a cabinet. My only issue with the clamp is having to keep up with the four corner pieces for the strap. But other than that, I love this clamp

I purchased the Craftsman Ratcheting Band Clamp mainly for my wood projects in the shop, but my first project was actually for repair purposes. The chairs at our dinning room table are kind of old and the legs keep loosening up and they wobble. I took the legs apart and cleaned up the joints and used wood glue for the seams of the joints and then took my new band clamp and used it to secure the legs and hold pressure on them until the glue dried. This ratcheting band clamps made this job pretty easy and I was able to secure the clamp using a single hand. This band clamp is tangle free and it's very easy to adjust. This band clamp uses a 1 inch wide strap and it's 16 ft long and should be able to handle most wood project or repair needs. There is a quick release button that allows the band to retract for fast setup or removal. I will most likely be buying me another one of these Craftsman Band Clamps in the near future. I have several items on the horizon, that this particular band clamp will be used on. I would recommend this to anyone in need of using any type of band clamping.

No one was available to hold a radio I was mounting on my motorcycle. I checked Sears on-line and found one at my local Sears. I was able to set the radio exactly where I needed to drill the holes. This clamp really is a big help when I need another set of hands to hold something and no one is available.

This tool works great for applying even pressure across a large surface. I was impressed with the amount of pressure this little clap was able to apply to my 4x4 Post glue up. You will not be dissapointed. My only complaint was that I needed the band to be about 3 feet longer.
