One tool for every screw.

The main advantage of this Craftsman ratcheting screwdriver is the on-board bit storage, which is quick and convenient to use.  When I'm upside-down in the bilge and I need a square drive bit instead of a Philips bit, I'm glad I have this tool. The on-board bit storage works great.

A neat novelty but overpriced
I saw this item on the Sears website and then saw it in person. When viewing some items online, it's often deceiving if you have nothing to provide a sense of scale. This item appeared great until I had the opportunity to check it out. This driver might be convenient and a bit of a novelty. That's however, is where the advantages end in my opinion. I would suggest that you view it in person before ordering it on good faith. This driver is MUCH larger than the photograph appears to depict. It is also constructed of a great deal of plastic. The soft grip is comfortable, but I would not expect it to hold up if your needs call for frequent heavy torque. In my opinion, this is NOT a contractor grade tool. I realize that it's not necessarily advertised as such. On the other hand, 25 bucks is a lot to shell out for a novelty tool that lacks the stamina to hold up under torque. You can purchase a far more professional screwdriver for much less than that. It may not be as convenient, but the convenience in this case is overshadowed by this huge and largely plastic tool.

Good Tool for its intended purpose

This is a great screwdriver to have around the house for common simple tasks. It has a large number of bits available for use, the grip is soft, and the ratcheting mechanism works ok. The only downside is it feels a little cheap. The plasic does not bode confidence with its apparent strength. I would argue it is a great tool as long as you arent trying to put 4inch screws into wood with it or break loose rusted fasteners without assistance.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Excellent Tool

I've had it for at least 7or8 years, have put it through its paces and have purchased it for friends as gifts. I'm ready for another since the end that holds the bits is worn and opens up on its own - again though I've pushed it to its limits even using it as a hammer.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

craftsman ratcheting ready bit screwdriver

I keep this screwdriver in the kitchen drawer. It is probably the most used tool in the house. The kids in wife will go get it from anywhere in the house. If they ever go on sale I plan on buying another one for me to be able to use in my shop. it has a nice ratcheting mechanism. It is better than my snapon.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

handy setup

Very handy all in one type setup that allows you to take care of multiple fasteners with one tool. especially handy to travel with, and the ratcheting action is nice as well. Keep it in your small travel tool bag or on your bike. Nice tool, recommended.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
