These are added for one thing and one thing only, Service visit.

These cheap plastic keys serve no real purpose, the throttle has an off switch and they are all the same make, so no value for theft protection. Mine snapped off with half left inside, so they want a $95 service call AT LEAST to fix the problem. To get a replacement alone costs near $10. I am usually impressed with craftsmen, but this was a stupid idea.
