Solid Construction
This edge guide is rock solid and was a pleasant surprise given the affordable price. My only complaint is that the spacing of the rods is about 1/16" wider than the holes that receive them on my Craftsman router (130.26620). Thus, it tends to slowly bind up as you push the fence nearer to the router bit (because the give in the rods decreases). However, it does not prevent it from doing the job. It was a good buy.

Didn't fit
I bought this for my plunge router 27666 and the rods were to large diameter to fit so I checked them and they are 25/64 not 3/8.

What a joke !!!!

I bought this edge guide with router model # 27666 and it don't fit !!! the guide rods are 3/8 dia and the holes for the guide rods on the router base is 21/64 dia so i took the edge guide back to the store and a employee checked to see if the edge guide would fit other craftsman routers, after trying all the models they had there the guide would only fit one fixed base router. the box claims that it "fits most Craftsman routers" which is a lie it should state "will not fit most Craftsman routers" and to add insult to injury i wrote to Sears and they replied back and told me go back to the store with my reciept to have a store employee help me find a guide that will fit my router ...... really ? after i had already done that and explained that they have a problem in my letter to them...... what a joke !!!!!!

Doesn't fit the router it says it's supposed to fit!

I bought this for the 27666 plunge router. The manual for the router says this is the one it needs. The rods are way to big to fit it though! I returned it and Sears salesmen said they know it doesn't fit it. What... NO other edge guide fits my router and the edge guide is a function I require for the router I bought. WTF.

Doesn't fit the 27666 plunge router

I just bought the 27666 plunge router, and the 3/8" rods that this edge guide has are too large to fit into the base.
