Craftsman  Router Table w/Folding Legs and Large 26 x16-1/2 in. Laminated MDF Work Surface

I don't know much about routers and router tables, I'm going to put that up front. I have taught myself to do some things on it already, and it seems to do well. I have a skill router that isn't listed as being compatible, but I was able to line up enough holes to attach it to the plate without having to drill new ones. some cons though, the miter is so short and far away from the fence that I have trouble using it with smaller pieces. I can work around it, but it does add another element of complexity and opportunity for error. and the fence can be annoying to have to move and there is no built in way to hold the guard up while making adjustments to the router and bits. but its sturdy, the little storage boxes are nice, the two outlets powered by the switch are nice since it powers the vacuum on simultaneously, and when packed away doesn't take up too much space.

Like that it folds up to save space in my work shop.

Easy to assemble and use. The list of compatible routers in the manual is not a complete list which should be mentioned there as well as in the product discription on-line. I have a small shop and needed a router table that I could put away when not in use and with the legs folded in it stores on a shelf that is less than 16 inches tall. Overall great table and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I looked a long time before I bought this router table. For the money, it is well made and designed. I serves my purposes very well and then some. It can adapt to other router manufacturers too, (look at the manual). I thought the manual was very well written and I followed the instructions and ran into no problems. I kept the box so that when it is folded up and put away it won't get dusty. I bought this online and saved a few bucks as well.

The collar is about 1/32" below the surface. A $1 modification will correct this. Supper glue several #8 washers under the collar. Then the collar will be about 1/64 above the surface. Sand down 1/64" and everything will line up.

When I assembled the table, I found that the hold downs cannot be used because T-Track was missing from the fence. When I called the number in the instructions, I was told that the do not replace missing parts. I have used a number of Sears tools in the past but, this is the last tool I will buy from Sears.

I paid a little extra in price to get the deluxe router table. It is really a great product. I like the electrical switch directly on the table. I also like the ease of changing router bits.

I bought this router table alone, not the combo pack that comes with the wicked cheap router.  That being said, I'm pretty happy with this table.  I realized that when I bought this it wasn't the top of the line, and I was(and still am) ok with that.  I'm not saying that someday I won't upgrade, but for now this is going to work just fine.

The dust/chip collector works really well and keeps my work surface clean.  Installing the router was a cinch.  The instructions that came with the table could have been better, but that wasn't really a big deal.

The table is the perfect weight for portability and usability, not too heavy where it is a pain to move and not too light where it slides around. Swapping the router from the table to hand tool is easy and painless, everything feels very sturdy not too flimsy where it feels cheap, a good balance of metal, plastic and wood.
