      Great Buy for the Money
For those looking for a professional level table, keep looking. It is a decent table for using smaller bits for moldings, etc. Assembly was easy, about 20 mins. +/- Only problem incurred was mounting a router to it. I used a 25+ year old Craftsman router. The screw pattern actually matched up, but the screws provided were way too long. Had to go to ****** to get shorter screws. I needed a smaller router/table to do some finish work inside the house. My "professional" setup was too big/heavy/bulky to bring into the house. Everyone must remember the name "Craftsman" is not what it was 20-40 years ago just like so many other valued names. I owned one of the "good ones" from that era and this one has better features. I have looked for 3 months comparing prices and features. This seems to be the best of the lot.

Basic, but it's supposed to be
I am pretty new to wood working and I bought my first router last week. I bought this table a few days ago and used it for the first time today. As soon as I started, I thought my router's blades were bad or I was doing something horribly wrong. The top of the fence, the pictures of the attached featherboards, EVERYTHING, says the feed direction should be from right to left, so without even looking at my blade's direction that's what I was doing. I couldn't hold on to my workpiece for anything. Every inch was a battle and I quickly lost confidence that I'd stay out of the ER. Then it donned on me what was going on. I LOOKED at my blade direction, then started feeding the correct way and all was well. My router is a Craftsman (The 2 HP combo fixed/plunge base model), so I can't imagine why or how this happened. I'll just say BE CAREFUL and don't blindly follow the table's stickers. Aside from that mixup, the table seems to be OK. It's small, probably small enough that it will only serve me for a short time before I want to upgrade. The legs are "Ok," probably one of the first things I"ll be doing is building a base cabinet and putting the tabletop on it without the legs. The fence and featherboard adjustments seem a little finicky to me, but for the most part I think they'll do. I like the second outlet for the shop vac, I wasn't expecting that. Like said before, this table is best suited for the light user and/or beginner...and that's what it's meant (And priced) for.

Does what it's designed to ... I think

I'm not sure what I was expecting. It certainly isn't great but for what I paid for it ... it'll do. Table top was scraped up when I took it out of the box -- disappointing -- but was pretty easy to assemble. Mounting the router -- I also have the Fixed/Plunge combo - was a pain in the **** as is changing bits. It works, it's functional but I'm starting to understand what people are talking about when they say Craftsman's quality has gone to pot.

      Good VAlue

It is not a top-of-the-line, professional table, but it is highly functional & quite sturdy. Set up was easy, and the directions crystal clear. (My Bosch 'hand trimmer' router did not fit the pre-drilled holes in the table, but drilling new holes to fit was simple.) This is a good buy for the amateur home workshop.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

I agree with Brian W. from Mass. I also have a Porter Cable router and had to create mounting holes 'cuz the ones provided don't line up. Dust collection does not work very well. The adjustments are sloppy but the featherboards are a plus.
