Craftsman  Saw/Router Gauge Set

This is a cheap tool that works great. I primarily use it to set the blade height on my table saw, but its good for router tables too. At $4.00, I highly recommend adding one to your next order.

Ordered product via Sears.com, it was available in less than 20 minutes, though I picked it up the next day.  It meet my expectations for what was purchased and it will perform the intended purpose as expected.

For such a simple thing it is nice to know that you can speed up your router setup by using simple tools and, as in this case, many times simpler is better! These are accurate and durable! I have two, one with the router and one with the table saw!

Great product, does exactly what is it designed to do and exactly what I needed.

The Craftsman Router and Saw Guage set is an extremely simple device and I had just pruchased it a few days ago, but it is already awsome. I had a project that I needed to be very precise in the depth of my cut for a 4 1/2" wide slot that needed to be 3/4" deep. I used the depth finder guage on my router and made my cut and it was about an 1/8" off. I recalibrated my router's digital guage again and it was an 1/8" off. I took a break from my project and went to town with my wife and while we were in Sears, I saw this router and saw guage and thought I would give it a try. After we got home, I wnet out to the shop and tore the package open and checked my digital guage and it showed 3/4" but was an 1/8" different from this new manual guage. I took my straight rule and measured the bit on the router and measured the new manual guage and it was accurate. so I set the router base to the 3/4" mark and locke dit down and I was done. I made my cuts again and this time my pieces fit perfectly. I used that guage set the rest of the day in the shop and it's quick, easy, and does not require any batteries or calibrations and it's ready for use, right out of the package. This guage set can be used on a miter saw, a table saw, a skill saw, and a router. I have only used my se on my Craftsman contractor table saw and my Craftsman router so far and I love it. very quick to get your mark and move it to the side and make your cuts with confidence that your measurements are reliable and accurate. I would definantly recommend this guage set to my shop buddies and my family and my friends.

There is not much one can say about the Craftsman Saw/Router Gauge Set other than AWESOME! These are low-tech measuring devices that makes set-up on your router table and on your table saw quick and easy. I have even used “V” shaped one my band saw with success. In a day of high tech measuring devices, these two gauges are inexpensive and just as effective as their expensive cousins. I have two sets in my shop and would go immediately to purchase a replacement if I ever lost one. A must have for the serious hobbyist and the professional woodworker.

In an age where everything to LED illuminated, laser guided or digitally controlled, it's refreshing to find a low-tech useful tool like these gauges.

If you own a table saw or a router table and you aren't using these gauges you probably aren't doing your best work.

this is the greatest little gauge that i have ever found. ESPECIALLY the one for router bits, it has never been easier to not only set the bit to a specific depth but easily being able to set multible bits to the same depth for perfect compound routered edges or panels in my case. buy this product, even if you think you wont use it much, once you use it once you will use it every time!!!
