A must have accessory!

I used the scraper blade with my NEXTEC Multi-Tool to remove old thinset from the backs of ceramic floor tiles that had gotten loose and had to be reset. I also used the accessory to remove the thinset from the plywood flooring. The scraper blade made this a very simple task and I was able to get the old thinset off in no time. This is a must have accessory if you have a Multi-Tool!

Great Tool for Adhesive Removal

Recently, I helped my son-in-law replace some old indoor/outdoor carpet with a new Pergo Laminate floor. This is a project that I have performed several times before but this time there was an added twist.

It seems that the previous owner had glued down the carpeting! Getting the concrete floor smooth enough to install the laminate was going to be a challenge.

We started in one corner and began to pull at the carpet. It was a little like removing wallpaper. Sometimes you would tear off a large piece and sometimes not so much. Once the bulk of the carpet was gone we were left with furry patches where the adhesive had been.

This scraper blade coupled with my Nextec Multi-Tool (and later my Craftsman Corded Multi-Tool) made short work of the adhesive residue. Without it I would have resorted to a Belt Sander and gone through $$$ of sanding belts.

The new floor turned out great and my daughter was very pleased with both husband and dad.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
