Oh, ye of little faith or skills! I bought one of these and it was just as 'flimsy' as the one I have made by Snap-On! As for reading the numbers, think outside the crayon box! I took a black crayon and filled in the numbers making it very easy to read.
I knew at the price point that it was probably made in China and it was, but the tool does not even have the "Craftsman" logo or marking anywhere on it. Just a big "China" on one side and "Metric" on the other. How is one to warranty it later down the road?
Anyways, the item is of basic acceptable quality and legibly marked. Will be fine for the occasional home user but I would not buy it if I was a professional daily user.

I bought this online and went to pick it up it up at the store. The brass rivet that holds the pitch blades in place was deformed or broken in the three they had in stock and the finish of the blades left rough edges throughout - very, very poor for a simple tool, not worthy of the brand. At H Fright, we'd expect to find such; Sears needs to do better.
