Great Starter Set - But You'll Go Back For More...

Every once in awhile a new product comes along that claims be be better, faster, more powerful, well, you get the idea. Some companies are notorious for making outlandish claims about their products only to fall short and disappoint their customer.

I was fearful that this would be the case with these improved Craftsman Self Feeding Spade Bits. In fact, I was so leary of the claims that I held myself back from purchasing a complete set. I opted instead for this 3 piece starter set.

After getting the bits home and trying them out on a few projects I learned that the claims Craftsman has made are TRUE. This bit design really is better. The bits really do cut faster.

I have since gone back to the store to correct my previous error. I now am the proud owner of the entire set.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall

Cheap auger bits

These bits do work as they are advertised, however they are NOT a replacement for a good set of ship auger bits, because the auger bits leave alot smoother holes, which is nicer for pulling wires through. I am interested in seeing how long the tip will last before it breaks off. Overall a good set of spade bits and unlike more expensive auger bits if you hit a couple nails with these they are so cheap you just throw them away and buy new ones!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
